| SAP | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2017 | 2018 |
In 2017, Arm Holdings implemented SAP S/4 HANA. The SAP S/4 HANA deployment replaced SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and was scoped to strengthen ERP Financial capabilities across the enterprise, with a pronounced focus on Order to Cash business processes.
Project staffing included a Lead Business Analyst responsible for the Order to Cash workstream, which provided centralized functional ownership for process design and detailed requirements. The implementation emphasized alignment of process, data, compliance, and behaviors to translate existing order management and billing practices into S/4 HANA operational models.
Configuration work centered on SAP S/4 HANA financial ledger configurations and Order to Cash flows, applying ERP Financial patterns such as order management, billing, invoicing and accounts receivable workflows to create integrated transaction processing. System-driven validations and workflow automation points were implemented to enforce compliance rules and improve data quality within finance and revenue-related touchpoints.
Governance was organized by functional workstreams with Lead Business Analyst and workstream leads owning requirements, testing and rollout coordination, and cross-functional stakeholders governing data and process changes. Training, formal process documentation and controlled cutover sequencing were used to align behaviors and compliance controls during the transition.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Time Off | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2018 |
In 2017, Arm Holdings implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Time Off to establish a standardized Absence and Leave Management capability across its People Team and central administration functions. The deployment was positioned within the broader SuccessFactors HRIS footprint used by the People Team, with the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Time Off module configured to handle leave requests, entitlement calculations, balance tracking, and approval workflows.
Configuration work focused on standard absence types, configurable entitlement rules, approval routing, and employee self-service for time off requests, reflecting common Absence and Leave Management patterns. SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Time Off was used to formalize request submission, manager approvals, and time-off balance visibility, while administrative screens supported retrospective adjustments and manual processing by the central administration team.
Operational coverage tied the Time Off module to day-to-day People Team activities, including onboarding and ongoing HRIS maintenance, with the People Team Graduate role documenting processes such as processing lateral moves, leave of absence entries, and terminations within SuccessFactors. The implementation supported People Hub administration and live chat triage workflows, enabling global People Team peers and on-site United Kingdom HR administrators to route nonroutine queries and maintain employee files and letters.
Governance and workflow changes emphasized a central administration model, with SLAs for first-line query response, triage to specialist People Team functions, and centralized generation of letters, references, and export control checks. The SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Time Off implementation reinforced structured absence governance and provided a single system of record for leave administration within Arm Holdings.

| Cadence Design Systems | Legacy | Cadence Xcelium Parallel Logic Simulation | ML and Data Science Platforms | AI Development | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Arm Holdings implemented the Cadence Xcelium Parallel Logic Simulation to run high-performance SoC verification workloads on Arm-based servers. Arm Holdings deployed Cadence Xcelium Parallel Logic Simulation, categorized as ML and Data Science Platforms, to accelerate verification of complex system on chip designs and to better utilize dense core counts in datacenter compute for electronics verification.
The implementation centered on the Xcelium simulator within the Cadence Verification Suite, leveraging its optimized single-core simulation and multi-core parallel logic simulation capabilities. Configuration emphasized automatic partitioning of design and verification testbench code for parallel execution, supporting both high-throughput short-run jobs and long-latency, large-scale SoC tests.
Operationally the solution was run natively on Arm-based servers and sized for datacenter verification workloads, enabling higher core density for parallel simulation. Platform-level references in the deployment included support for ThunderX2 and Qualcomm Centriq 2400 class servers, aligning compute capacity and single-core performance to the simulation profile typical of system and semiconductor EDA workloads.
Governance and workflow changes focused on orchestration of multi-core job scheduling and test partitioning to exploit available cores, integrating simulation runs into existing SoC verification pipelines. Outcomes reported in the implementation included up to 2X single-core speedup and 3X to 10X multi-core speedup versus previous simulators, reduced long-latency SoC test times, and lower datacenter power and floor space requirements as stated by the vendors.
