In 2016, Ascent Flight Training implemented IRIS CascadeHR to centralize employee records and automate HR workflows. The deployment targeted Core HR capabilities to support Ascent's HR team responsible for delivering personnel services for the Military Flying Training System in the United Kingdom.
IRIS CascadeHR was configured to manage core personnel records, absence and leave tracking, automated reporting, and workflow orchestration for routine HR processes. The implementation emphasized workflow-driven administration and scheduled reports to streamline day-to-day HR tasks and reduce manual report compilation.
Operational ownership rested with named HR systems and data roles, specifically HR Systems Manager and HR Data Officer responsibilities, who managed the Cascade HRIS and completed reporting requirements. The HR team also administered the applicant tracking system and the Employee Benefits System alongside IRIS CascadeHR, using the platform to support hiring, benefits administration, and personnel data stewardship across the organization.
Governance focused on workflow approvals, data stewardship, and iterative configuration of automated reports to simplify administration. The implementation of IRIS CascadeHR simplified day-to-day administration tasks and provided a centralized Core HR platform for ongoing HR operations and reporting.

| Veryon | Legacy | Veryon Tracking+ | Aviation MRO | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2021 | 2022 |
In 2021 Affinity Flying Training Services implemented Veryon Tracking+ as its Aviation MRO platform to consolidate aircraft maintenance, records, and planning across its UKMFTS fixed wing training support operations. The deployment targeted Affinity’s mixed fleet environment and aimed to move the organization off spreadsheet driven processes toward a single web based maintenance and operations system, improving data control and airworthiness coordination across multiple sites.
Veryon Tracking+ was configured for a modular rollout, leveraging the product’s five verticals of Fleet Management, MRO Management, Inventory Management, Flight Operations, and Business Support. The implementation emphasized selective module adoption with the option to scale, a modernized user interface to support mobile sign off, and an offline deployment capability to maintain continuity during intermittent connectivity. Data migration tools were used, together with integrity checks and selective import of only relevant records to establish a single source of truth.
Operational coverage focused on Affinity’s CAMO, procurement and inventory teams, Part 145 maintenance workflows, and downstream finance reporting, with explicit use cases across the Grob 120TP, Embraer Phenom 100E, and Texan T 6C fleets. Veryon Tracking+ supplied richer maintenance and consumption data to finance teams, supported work order and defect management under Part 145 processes, and reduced reliance on scanned paperwork and siloed spreadsheets. The solution remained web based while enabling mobile technicians to synchronize task sign offs and engineers to access technical records in support of distributed maintenance sites.
The rollout followed Veryon’s standardized deployment sequence of scoping, requirements gathering, initial user training, data import, UAT, and a phased go live to manage interdepartmental data cross over. Vendor personnel worked on site during early operations transitioning to a ticketing based support model with monthly reviews, and Affinity established internal champions and a guiding coalition to maintain momentum while sustaining live flying and training operations. CAMO involvement was continuous due to civil and military regulatory oversight and the need for rigorous airworthiness auditing throughout the program.
Outcomes reported during the transition include materially improved data quality and control, stronger long term planning capability within CAMO, reduced AOG incidents and associated freight costs, better inventory visibility and ownership cost transparency, and lower consumption costs through improved procurement planning. The program also reduced administrative workload enabling staff to focus more on task execution, supported a move toward paperless records, and strengthened operational risk management by providing a unified maintenance data source.
