In 2015, Assurity implemented EXL LifePRO as its core Insurance Policy Administration system to centralize inforce policy processing and daily policy maintenance workflows. EXL LifePRO was positioned to support inforce administration and transaction processing for individual life insurance products within Assurity operations in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The implementation emphasized inforce administration modules, a policy transaction engine, and document generation and correspondence workflows. Operational activities documented during the rollout included inforce administrators processing 20 to 25 transactions per day using EXL LifePRO together with document handling tools, and routine tasks to ensure accurate policyholder data was maintained in the database system.
EXL LifePRO was integrated operationally with Global 360 for document management and correspondence orchestration, and it interfaced with standard communication channels including fax, e-mail, and postal mail for client correspondence. Day to day operational coverage centered on policy administration and customer-facing communications managed from Assurity’s Lincoln, Nebraska site, with named operational roles such as Inforce Administrator, Lead Inforce Administrator, and Project Administrator executing the workflows.
Governance focused on role-based processing and procedural controls for transaction handling and policy data accuracy, with configuration aligning LifePRO workflows to existing policy maintenance procedures. Training and administrative oversight were reflected in progressive role titles and responsibilities captured in operational staffing, supporting ongoing administration and system stewardship of EXL LifePRO within Assurity’s Insurance Policy Administration environment.
