Configuration work focused on payment method orchestration, automated remittance delivery, and reconciliation touchpoints to accelerate cash application and reduce manual matching. Rollout and governance were managed within the finance AP organization, moving thousands of payments onto eChecks and enforcing supplier enrollment on the payment wall to streamline inbound payment processing. The program cut mail float, reduced payment costs, and improved payment speed and reconciliation across AT&T U.S. operations, with ongoing operational ownership retained by accounts payable teams.

Configuration work covered core HCM touchpoints and extended to Compensation, Time Tracking, North American Payroll and Canadian Payroll, Benefits Administration, Onboarding, Talent and Recruiting, Performance Management and Finance modules noted in the project scope. The team built advanced custom reports, matrix reports, worklets and dashboards using Workday Report Writer, and used the Workday Calculation Engine to model complex accruals and worker eligibility rules for Time Off and Leave Plans. Integrations were implemented with third party applications using Workday Cloud Connect, Enterprise Interface Builder and Workday Studio, and large data transformations were performed with SQL Server, Excel, XML and XSLT tools. Governance and delivery practices included coordinated activities across core HR and offshore teams, delivery support and knowledge transfer to client power users, and support for metrics and reporting teams during testing and production stabilization.

The team created PL/SQL packages for data validations, developed scripts to create tables views indexes and sequences, and authored adhoc queries and reports to monitor data and generate operational statistics. Integrations and operational coverage explicitly included Oracle OM processes and the EPL INV OM interface set, with defect and ticket management tracked through iTrack. Release and validation workflows were coordinated with BSA and DBA teams, and the support lead participated in system integration testing and user acceptance testing with business users. Support scope encompassed service ticket resolution analyzing and fixing defects processing enhancement requests and ongoing system monitoring for AT&T wireless operations across the United States. Governance and workflow controls included obtaining BSA approvals for PL/SQL fixes creating test cases for SIT and UAT and performing post release production validations and monitoring. The support process also used formal iTrack tickets for production bugs coordinated offshore remediation teams and involved business stakeholder engagement during requirement and validation meetings.
