Data conversion requirements were coordinated with business stakeholders for the credit and collections datasets, and customer specific procedures were captured and transitioned to the centralised team for integration and ongoing improvement. Governance and process restructuring were executed through a management team that planned, piloted, and executed the centralisation, and through Lean Six Sigma activities that prioritised pain points and established improvement projects. Segregation of duty issues in SAP user administration were resolved in partnership with process owners, and SoD requirements were embedded into the fraud risk assessment process to align controls with the new operating model. The program included Lean Six Sigma workstreams that ran two yellow belt projects through to the improve phase, one green belt project through to the analyse phase, and a 5S project to standardise processes, with a Kaizen event to align stakeholders on enterprise price change processes. Residual recommendations and continuous improvement handovers were provided to business as usual teams following implementation, and the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Credit Management solution was positioned to support centralised credit operations within Australia Post.
