| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay | Compensation Management | HCM | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021 Axpo Holding deployed SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay as part of its OneERP program to standardize HR and compensation processes across the group. The SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay implementation was scoped under Compensation Management and targeted harmonization of variable compensation across 63 legal and operational units, aligned with a concurrent consolidation to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Extended Edition.
SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay was configured as an add-on to SuccessFactors to support compensation plan definitions, eligibility rules, target and quota management, formula based calculations, payout scheduling, approval workflows and compensation reporting. Configuration work emphasized plan hierarchies, pay component mappings and workflow-driven approvals to align Compensation Management controls with group level policies.
The technical architecture integrated SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay into the OneERP landscape using SAP CPI for orchestration, SAP IdM for identity and provisioning, and Tibco EBX for master data management, with ServiceNow, qTest and Tosca supporting ITSM and test automation. The solution was implemented alongside peripheral SAP systems such as Ariba, Fieldglass and Concur and the core SAP S/4HANA Cloud Extended Edition to ensure compensation data consistency across finance and procurement touchpoints.
Program governance was centralized under the OneERP release strategy with a common governance model for systems, processes and data, and agile delivery methods using Jira epics, stories and sprints. Project management ran from Oct 2021 to Nov 2022 and emphasized standardized end to end workflows across quote to cash, report to report, source to pay and project to result to establish consistent Compensation Management processes and approvals.

| ABB Enterprise Software Group | Legacy | ABB Ability | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Axpo Holding deployed ABB Ability as an Enterprise Asset Management solution in collaboration with ABB Enterprise Software Group. The deployment centered on ABB Ability Smart Sensors installed on motors and other rotating equipment across the plant, and it was executed in partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise to support on site installation and telemetry capture.
ABB Ability Condition Monitoring was configured to deliver accurate, real time motor event information and continuous condition telemetry, enabling detection of anomalies and status reporting for individual pieces of equipment. The implementation emphasized condition based monitoring workflows, capturing maintenance and performance data points that feed analytics for availability, reliability and maintainability assessments.
Architecturally, sensor telemetry was routed into ABB Ability Condition Monitoring with flexible storage options, data being retained either in the cloud or within the customer local system according to Axpo requirements. The solution centralized sensor data for plant operators and maintenance teams, integrating device level telemetry into a unified monitoring service rather than into discrete point tools.
Operationally the rollout covered plant level rotating equipment and targeted the functions of operations and maintenance, enabling operators to discover anomalies and anticipate maintenance needs. Governance shifted toward condition driven maintenance processes, with the ABB Ability Condition Monitoring service providing the operational signals used to prioritize interventions and schedule work.
Reported outcomes included more efficient maintenance execution and lower risk of unpredicted failure, supported by continuous monitoring that provides exact equipment status. ABB Ability Smart Sensors together with ABB Ability Condition Monitoring established a persistent asset monitoring layer within Axpo Holding, aligning Enterprise Asset Management practices with real time sensor data.

In 2010, Axpo Holding deployed QlikView as its Analytics and BI platform in a project executed with Informatec and led by project manager Flávio Soares. The initiative focused on building a new data consolidation structure to ingest and merge data from Axpo’s basic systems into QlikView for analytical consumption.
The implementation deliberately forewent a classic data warehouse approach and instead implemented staging, transformation, and quality control workflows within QlikView. QlikView was configured to handle temporary storage of incoming datasets, scripted transformations to harmonize and enrich records, and embedded data quality checks prior to making datasets available for analysis.
Informatec defined the process steps as a sequence of ingest, temporary staging, transformation, validation, and presentation, with QlikView serving both as the data processing and front end analytics layer. The deployment emphasized orchestration of data preparation inside the QlikView environment, consolidating data from multiple source systems into unified data models for reporting.
Governance was driven by the procedural steps outlined by the project manager, ensuring that all source data passed through transformation and quality control stages before being used for analysis in QlikView. The narrative documents the use of QlikView as the primary Analytics and BI engine, implemented by Informatec to centralize data preparation and visualization workflows for Axpo Holding.
