The program was led from the bank's IT division, which was responsible for delivering high quality IT services and coordinating four departments, and included project management, budget planning and strategic planning for the core banking rollout. Implementation ran alongside a broader IT modernization program that migrated Fox Pro applications to SQL and .NET, deployed web based technologies, and introduced VoIP and a voice network for branches. The IT organization established dedicated administration teams for Oracle database telecom AIX and Wintel platforms and SAP development, and implemented a 24/7 on call support model for critical systems. Process automation deliverables executed in parallel included an automatic Retail Loans Evaluation application an incident and problem management application a data warehouse for reporting an e learning system and a formal Change Management process. Infrastructure and operational coverage for the Temenos T24 effort included design and deployment of the bank's principal and disaster recovery IT data centers, with coordination of design construction and procurement for air conditioning power supply and data cabling. Banca Romaneasca participated as a member of the Project Management Group for Temenos T24, and IT leadership concurrently served on steering committees for SAP FI SAP BW SAP MM SAP CRM and SAP HCM which were in progress. Governance and organizational changes accompanied the technical work, including reorganization of the IT division creation of new job positions and job descriptions and the establishment of transparency and accountability rules for IT budget utilization.
