In 2009, Bao Viet Bank deployed Temenos T24 as its Core Banking platform, focusing on modularization for treasury and asset workflows. The implementation prioritized design and configuration of Temenos T24 modules for Asset Management and Funds Transfer Pricing, aligning core ledger and product engines with bank accounting and pricing workflows.
Concurrent with the T24 work, Bao Viet Bank developed a Management Information System using .NET technology, specifically C# and ASP.NET, with SQL Server as the data store. The MIS was built to consume and reconcile transactional and position data from Temenos T24, providing management reporting and analytics that complement Core Banking operational processes.
The program included a dedicated gateway developed to communicate with Baoviet Securities Company BVSC, enabling secured message exchange between the bank and its securities arm. That gateway functions as an integration layer between Temenos T24 transaction flows and external securities settlement and market data feeds, supporting treasury, securities operations, and intercompany funds movements.
Implementation activity centered on module-level configuration, application integration, and MIS instrumentation, with scope covering asset management, funds transfer pricing, treasury, and securities operations. Governance emphasized aligning Temenos T24 module designs with existing operational workflows and embedding the .NET MIS for centralized management reporting across affected business functions.
