| SAP | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Berry Bros. & Rudd implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its core ERP Financial platform, replacing SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and establishing a unified system of record for finance and inventory posting. The deployment consolidated financial accounting and inventory valuation processes under SAP S/4 HANA, positioning the application as the primary ledger for customer credits, stock transfers, and warehouse-related financial postings across the business.
The SAP S/4 HANA implementation encompasses standard ERP Financial capabilities including financial accounting and controlling, general ledger and subledger postings, accounts receivable and accounts payable workflows, and inventory valuation tied to materials movements. Configuration emphasis aligned finance postings with goods movements, enabling stock transfer orders and goods receipts to generate automated inventory accounting entries, and supporting workflows for customer private reserve and change of ownership transactions.
Operational integration centers on warehouse and logistics processes, where goods in clerks and inventory controllers book inbound stock and execute STOs across three warehouses directly into SAP S/4 HANA. The system is used day to day by inbound, outbound, despatch and shipping teams to record stock movements and prepare inventory for customer-facing activities, which include making stock available for customer accounts and subsequent placement on the BBX customer marketplace.
Governance and rollout were organized around an operations focal point drawn from the warehouse team, who worked with the implementation program to create blueprints, test new programs, and deliver staff training. The implementation included a paperless initiative and structured training and process documentation to embed new order to cash, stock transfer, and goods receipt controls within operational teams.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020 Berry Bros. & Rudd implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the company Core HR system. The deployment established SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the authoritative HR record for the UK workforce, centralizing employee master data for an organization of approximately 455 employees and aligning the HR function around a cloud-based Core HR platform.
The implementation concentrated on Core HR capabilities within SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, including configuration of central employee records, organizational management, position and job structures, and HR workflow automation and business rules. Configuration work included data model design, role-based security, and validation rules to support HR case management and statutory data capture consistent with Core HR requirements.
The project included an explicit integration between SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and ADP Payroll, delivered as an Employee Central and ADP Payroll Integration Project. That integration created synchronized payroll data flows to support payroll input and payroll results exchange between Employee Central and ADP Payroll, preserving Employee Central as the single source of truth for workforce data used by payroll processes.
Project governance was structured with dedicated SuccessFactors EC consultant resources filling combined project lead and test lead responsibilities on a contract basis from February 2020 through December 2020, supporting configuration, testing, and validation cycles. Operational scope covered HR and payroll functions across Berry Bros. & Rudd in the United Kingdom, with phased testing and cutover coordination to operationalize SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.

| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Power BI | Analytics and BI | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, Berry Bros. & Rudd implemented Microsoft Power BI as part of its Analytics and BI tooling to establish a centralized reporting and visualization capability across the company in the United Kingdom. Microsoft Power BI was deployed to provide self-service dashboards, managed datasets, and operational reporting for the organization.
The implementation emphasized standard Analytics and BI functional workflows, including data modeling, report development, scheduled dataset refreshes, and interactive dashboard publishing. Development work referenced SQL and Transact-SQL based data models, and Power BI report artifacts were organized to support repeatable authoring and parameterized data queries.
Integrations referenced in the deployment included Azure Data Factory for data ingestion and transformation, and Azure DevOps Server for report lifecycle management and version control. These integrations indicate an architecture where Azure Data Factory pipelines feed curated SQL datasets that Microsoft Power BI consumes, while Azure DevOps Server governs report source control and release processes.
Operational governance used role based access controls in Power BI and DevOps driven change management to manage content promotion and access. The implementation focused on enabling business intelligence and analytics capabilities across the enterprise, with configuration and process controls to support ongoing report maintenance and developer collaboration.
