The project leveraged the Sage ERP X3 integrated development environment to tailor system behavior and content without altering program code, enabling internal teams to adjust workflows and reports as business needs evolved.
Operational integrations focused on shop floor and warehouse data capture using the Automated RF Data Collection add-on, which processes inputs from ruggedized RF devices, verifies transactions, manages device networks and persists data during system downtime. System access was extended to 47 users across manufacturing, supply chain, quality and finance, providing real-time production visibility and easier report generation for multiple departments.
Governance and operational impact centered on production reporting, batch yield tracking and lot-level audit trails to support food safety and traceability requirements.
