| SAP | Legacy | SAP S/4HANA Cloud | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2025 | 2025 |
In 2025, BRF Global implemented SAP S/4HANA Cloud as its ERP Financial system, executing a brownfield upgrade of an existing SAP ECC environment while retaining much of the companys established infrastructure and core data services. The deployment covers BRFs global footprint, supporting operations across more than 127 countries, 44 production units, 103 distribution centers, and an employee base near 100,000, aligning the ERP Financial platform with enterprise scale supply chain and commercial operations.
The SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation centers on consolidating real-time information and aligning financial and operational planning, with configuration focused on finance master data consolidation, centralized financial planning, and embedded analytics to support faster financial close and operational decisioning. BRF is instrumenting AI-driven master data analytics and automated forecasting inputs, leveraging SAP Business AI capabilities to improve data quality and streamline planning workflows within the ERP Financial context.
S/4HANA Cloud is integrated with SAP Integrated Business Planning, which BRF uses for demand planning and sensing, statistical modeling, forecast accuracy and embedded analytics, time-series analysis, and exception management. The ERP Financial deployment also runs alongside cloud procurement through SAP Ariba and human capital processes in SAP SuccessFactors, creating a connected application landscape that aligns procurement, workforce, operational planning, and finance.
Governance and process change emphasize collaborative forecasting and daily demand planning, supporting more than 400 planners with exception management and embedded analytics to accelerate decision cycles. The brownfield upgrade approach preserves core data services and minimizes infrastructure disruption, while SAP Business AI and the Joule copilot are being adopted to simplify planner interactions and surface AI-assisted recommendations within both IBP and S/4HANA Cloud workflows.
Outcomes explicitly reported include improved forecast accuracy, optimized inventory and planning, and a 33 percent faster ability to access and analyze demand and forecast data, contributing to operational efficiency at scale. BRFs work with SAP earned recognition through the SAP Innovation Award in the Cloud ERP Champion and Industry Leader category, reflecting the combined ERP Financial and integrated planning architecture supporting the companys supply chain from farm to table.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2018 | 2019 |
In 2018, BRF Global implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as its Core HR system. A SuccessFactors Analyst and an IT-HR focal point led the Employee Central project to standardize Admission, Resignation, Movement, Benefit, Absences and time processes across all 26 units of Cia.
The deployment configured SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central modules to act as the central employee master, with explicit workflows for Admission onboarding, Resignation offboarding, Movement event processing, Benefits administration, and Absences and time capture. Configuration work emphasized common data models for employee records, standardized event-driven business rules, and consistent time recording taxonomies to support uniform process execution.
Operational coverage spanned HR operations across corporate and regional units, positioning SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the system of record for personnel events and lifecycle management. The implementation focused on harmonizing HR business functions so Admission, Resignation, Movement, Benefits and Absences processes followed the same global design across all 26 units while allowing necessary local parameterization.
Governance established centralized process ownership within IT-HR with the SuccessFactors Analyst serving as the primary project and governance focal point, driving global process standards, configuration control, and rollout coordination. The program prioritized standard operating procedures for core HR events and instituted change control for future Employee Central configuration updates.
