In 2020, Byline Bancorp implemented FIS Worldpay to handle online payment acceptance on its public website. The deployment positions Worldpay as the core Payment Processing gateway embedded in web checkout and digital channel transaction flows, focused on web-based authorization and settlement for customer-initiated payments.
Configuration leveraged standard Payment Processing capabilities including gateway authorization, tokenization of payment data, and fraud screening workflows consistent with Worldpay functionality. The integration surface is the corporate website payment pages, making Worldpay the primary processor for online payments while interfacing with Byline Bancorp's digital channels and payments operations, and governance required coordination between payments operations, treasury, and digital channels teams to align operational workflows and transaction reconciliation.

In 2018 Byline Bancorp implemented Fiserv Signature Bank Platform, replacing Fiserv Premier Bank Platform to consolidate core account processing and operations. The deployment targeted Core Banking functions and established Fiserv Signature Bank Platform as the primary system for Deposit Services, Debit Card/ATM services, and Image Services across the bank's back-office operations.
The implementation included account maintenance and deposit processing capabilities such as product type changes, account status changes, CIF updates, address verification, safe deposit box payments, and handling of CD holds approvals. Card operations were managed through card lifecycle workflows including hot-carding and filing of debit card closure dates, while ACH processing and image operations covered confirmation of ACH rejects and review of ACH exceptions for DDA, SAV, and GL accounts. The project also supported statement processing activities, including assisting with combining statements via RXX on the prior Fiserv Signature environment.
Operational coverage emphasized cross-department maintenance and continuity during conversion training, with staff providing support while operation coordinators were in training or on vacation. Governance practices observed during the rollout included daily reporting to supervisors, protocol enforcement through email notifications to bankers and teller supervisors when tasks were not followed, and documented review steps for holds and ACH exceptions. These controls were integrated into routine operational workflows to maintain transactional integrity during the platform transition.
Deployment work was hands-on and procedural, focusing on in-system transaction handling and exception management rather than on introducing new external integrations. Fiserv Signature Bank Platform served as the focal Core Banking application enabling Byline Bancorp deposit processing, card operations, image clearing, and statement combination workflows within the bank's operational departments.

In 2022, Byline Bancorp implemented TassatPay, deploying the TassatPay private permissioned blockchain as a Blockchain Platform to enable B2B real-time payments and cash management services. The implementation targeted Byline Bancorp commercial customers, providing 24 by 7 by 365 instantaneous payment flows with no stated limits on transaction size or volume.
The TassatPay implementation included blockchain infrastructure with Smart Contracts and added Fedwire functionality, positioning TassatPay as a single platform for B2B payments. Functional capabilities emphasized real-time settlement, permissioned access controls for transaction visibility, and support for large value interbank transfers for treasury and corporate payments.
Integrations and operational coverage included Fedwire functionality explicitly integrated into the TassatPay environment, enabling interoperability with U.S. high value payment rails. Operational scope focused on the bank s commercial payments and treasury functions, with B2B customers able to send and receive large payments including weekends and holidays.
Governance and security elements were centered on a private permissioned blockchain model where only authorized entities can view data and transactions, and on attainment of a SOC 2 Type II opinion for customer data security, privacy and confidentiality safeguards. TassatPay is reported to have facilitated more than 500 billion dollars in secure real-time transactions, reinforcing Byline Bancorp s adoption of the TassatPay Blockchain Platform for B2B payments.
