In 2018, Byrnecut implemented INX Learning Management Solution to address corporate Learning and Development needs at Byrnecut Australia. The program was driven from the Information Systems organization, with the Information Systems Manager facilitating project scope definition, timeline planning, resource allocation, and stakeholder reporting while serving on the IS&T Steering Committee and supporting the Byrnecut Group CIO.
INX Learning Management Solution was configured to support core Learning and Development capabilities typical of enterprise LMS deployments, including course and curriculum management, compliance and competency tracking, and automated assignment and completion workflows. Configuration work emphasized process discovery and automation to improve process visibility and to align training workflows with operational governance requirements.
The implementation was integrated into Byrnecut’s analytics and reporting estate, where INX served as a source for the Power BI data warehouse and analysis services. Data discovery activities explicitly included INX alongside the Maintenance system, PLODtrack mining production system, and Pronto ERP, enabling consolidated reporting across training, maintenance, production, and safety datasets.
Governance for the rollout included formal change management and CAB approvals chaired by the Information Systems Manager, road-mapping with the IS&T Steering Committee, and ongoing application team coaching and succession planning. Scope Systems PLODtrack was integrated into the company data warehouse and reporting fabric, serving as a core data source for Power BI alongside INX, the maintenance system and Pronto ERP for consolidated operational reporting. Operational coverage included IS&T, Business Intelligence, Software Development and Process Improvements teams, with deployment focused on mining production and maintenance business functions in the Perth organization.
Governance and rollout used centralized change control with the Information Systems Manager chairing the CAB to approve configuration changes and oversee delivery, and the Business Applications Team managing project scope, timelines and stakeholder sign-off. The implementation established a governed feed into the BI stack for ongoing monitoring and analytics, aligning Scope Systems PLODtrack to Byrnecut operational processes and change management workflows.
