SAP Legacy SAP Concur Expense Expense Management ERP Financial Management n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, Capgemini implemented SAP Concur Expense as a groupwide Expense Management solution to centralize travel and expense processing. Vitold HORODECKI, Purchasing Director, framed the initiative as a need for a simple, fast and efficient travel and expense solution to serve roughly 150,000 employees across 45 countries, aligning the program with Capgemini's digital consulting capabilities. SAP Concur Expense was deployed as a cloud Expense Management platform configured for expense capture, mobile receipt submission, policy based approval workflows, automated expense report creation and centralized audit controls. Configuration work focused on consistent corporate policy enforcement, multi currency handling, expense category standardization and a role based approval matrix to support global professional services operations. Operational coverage targeted finance, procurement and local business units across the 45 country footprint, with the implementation designed to centralize expense data for corporate reporting. Integrations were planned to interface with corporate finance systems and card feeds to streamline transactional flows and maintain a single source of expense truth. Governance and rollout were structured under purchasing and procurement leadership, with centralized policy configuration, phased country rollouts and accompanying training and change management to embed the new workflows. The selection of SAP Concur Expense reflected an explicit business requirement for a simple, fast and efficient Expense Management capability consistent with Capgemini's consulting positioning.

Bloomflow Legacy Bloomflow Collaboration Collaboration n/a 2021 2021
In 2021, Capgemini Ventures deployed Bloomflow, a Collaboration application, as a global open-innovation and startup-scouting platform internally branded as Rocket Station to centralize startup tracking and ecosystem management across the group. Outcomes reported in the case study include tracking more than 1,000 startups in 2022 and a 60% increase in users in 2022, demonstrating increased engagement with the platform. The narrative positions Bloomflow as Capgemini's Collaboration tool for structured startup scouting and ecosystem orchestration supporting the Startup Catalyst program.
