In 2015, Carborundum Universal implemented Ramco ERP as its ERP Financial application. The deployment was centered at Carborundum Universal Limited in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and addressed core financial and HR transactional needs at that site.
Ramco ERP was configured to support bills receivable operations within the Accounts department, with explicit use of Ramco Virtual Works RVW for bills receivable processing. Standard ERP Financial terminology such as transaction posting, invoice management, and request to approve workflows was used to align accounting and HR activities under a single application instance.
Governance emphasized consolidation of Accounts and HR transactional procedures into the Ramco ERP environment, enabling a unified record of bills receivable and HR purchase requests at the Chennai site. Operational coverage remained focused on the Accounts and HR business functions, with process orchestration and role based access controls applied to ensure appropriate transaction ownership and approval sequencing.
