Acumatica Legacy Acumatica Cloud ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, CCIntegration implemented Acumatica Cloud ERP, an ERP Financial application, to centralize logistics, inventory and shipping operations for its San Jose, CA operations. The implementation focused on logistics admins and inventory control workflows and explicitly supported domestic and international shipping processes managed by the logistics team. Acumatica Cloud ERP was configured to manage inventory control, warehouse activities, order to ship workflows, freight arrangement records, and shipping documentation such as bills of lading and airway bills. Functional configuration included shipping label generation, barcode and label auditing, recording shipment discrepancies, and FIFO issuance and release of inventory to production and sales departments. Operational touchpoints aligned Acumatica Cloud ERP with external 3PL warehouse procedures and freight forwarder workflows, and shipping information was maintained in the ERP as the authoritative logistics record. The system supported coordination between logistics, production and sales groups, scheduling of carrier pick ups and will call events, and processes for extracting freight quotes and arranging international shipments. Governance and process workstreams established during the rollout included development and maintenance of international transportation SOPs with freight forwarders and logistics service providers, trade compliance monitoring and shipping validation activities, and structured procedures for freight billing audit and dispute resolution. Rollout integrated operational recordkeeping into Acumatica Cloud ERP and restructured shipping and inventory procedures to align with the new system of record.
