In 2018 Chaabi Bank implemented Temenos T24 as its Core Banking application to centralize transaction processing and product administration across its banking operations. The Temenos T24 deployment focused on standard Core Banking capabilities including account lifecycle management, deposit processing, loan and corporate lending workflows, payments processing and general ledger posting.
Configuration work emphasized product parameterization, workflow orchestration for customer onboarding and transaction approval, and straight through processing for routine payment and posting tasks. The implementation leveraged Temenos T24 modules for customer data and compliance workflows consistent with Core Banking functional patterns, with a T24 consultant engaged for configuration and knowledge transfer.
Technical architecture included a core transaction engine, application server tiers and a centralized transactional database to support real time and batch processing, with middleware and interfacing layers to connect channel and back office systems. Integrations were implemented to support payment messaging and clearing interfaces and to federate customer and transaction data across channels, using standard API and messaging approaches common in Core Banking deployments.
Operational governance established configuration control, release sequencing and runbook driven operations to stabilize core processing, along with role based access controls and training for operations and branch staff. Rollout followed controlled waves with consultant led testing, handover and operational readiness activities to embed Temenos T24 as Chaabi Bank's Core Banking system.
