Operational integrations included upgrading the disaster recovery environment to a modern system connected to HANA, with the DR infrastructure maintained online via a heartbeat connection. The implementation delivered near real time visibility into operations and supported finance and operations functions across Cheney Brothers wholesale food distribution processes. Governance and cutover planning emphasized the 16 hour downtime constraint, coordinated database migration, and managed services support for go live and stabilization.
