In 2011, CHEP Americas implemented SAP Concur Expense as its Expense Management platform to centralize employee expense reporting and controls across its United States operations. The deployment addressed corporate travel and expense workflows and provided a unified expense submission and approval path for finance and procurement teams.
SAP Concur Expense was configured to support core Expense Management capabilities including electronic receipt capture, itemized expense reporting, policy enforcement, automated workflow approvals, corporate card reconciliation, and audit trails. Configuration emphasized rule-based approval chains and expense policy controls to align finance and procurement authorization matrices.
Integrations were implemented between SAP Concur Expense and the company SRM environment to manage purchase orders and to surface invoice issues, enabling PO matching and exception handling between Concur and SRM. The integration linked expense data and invoice exceptions to procurement records so accounts payable and procurement could resolve discrepancies within the SRM and Concur workflows.
Operational governance centered on finance and procurement owners who managed approval policies and exception workflows, with rollout focused on accounts payable, travel and expense teams, and procurement operations. Processes were restructured so invoice and PO issues were triaged jointly via SRM and Concur, formalizing handoffs between expense management and procurement functions.

| ADP | Legacy | ADP Enterprise eTIME (OEM Kronos Workforce Central) | Time and Attendance | HCM | n/a | 2010 | 2010 |
In 2010, CHEP Americas implemented ADP Enterprise eTIME (OEM Kronos Workforce Central) as its Time and Attendance system. The HR technology team also served on the Workday Project Core Team and completed a global Workday rollout across six countries covering HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Integrations, and Reporting.
ADP Enterprise eTIME was configured to support time capture and approval workflows alongside Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service, automating time off requests and centralizing time entry. The implementation included Position Management to track and report open headcounts, improving accuracy for workforce planning and budgeting.
The program was responsible for all inbound and outbound interfaces between the HR system and other systems, with integrations tying ADP Enterprise eTIME to the broader Workday HCM deployment and to the iVantage Benefits Web Enrollment system. These integration patterns eliminated dual data entry and established HR data as the central source of employee information across connected systems.
Governance followed an HR Technology Strategy that aimed to reduce application footprint and create process efficiencies, with deployment of an HR Portal and Employee Self Service to shift transactional activity away from HR. Benefits Web Enrollment using iVantage delivered an explicitly stated annual savings of $275,000, and the self-service tools produced time savings for HR and employees while reducing manual reconciliation.
