In 2014, China Resources Vanguard deployed Oracle Retail (ex Retek) as the core of a multi-channel Retail Management platform for its China joint venture operations. The implementation was scoped to support a unified retail operation model running across more than 4000 stores and digital channels, aligning merchandising and supply chain processes under a single application footprint. The workstreams encompassed integration and customization of Oracle Retail (ex Retek) functional modules, including Space Range and Merchandising, Demand forecasting, and Replenishment across channels. Additional capabilities implemented included supply chain orchestration, transport management, IT automation, workflow orchestration, and consolidated reporting systems to support inventory and assortment decisions. Architecturally the deployment delivered a centralized operational layer to orchestrate inventory, replenishment, assortment planning, and transport workflows across store and channel endpoints, while enabling channel-aware demand forecasting and replenishment execution. Integrations tied merchandising and forecasting processes into transport management and reporting systems to provide coherent operational data flows for store replenishment and assortment updates. Governance and rollout were managed by a dedicated development and deployment team responsible for customization, configuration, and phased activation across stores and channels, with process standardization for merchandising, replenishment, and operational reporting. The implementation positioned Oracle Retail (ex Retek) as the enterprise Retail Management backbone connecting merchandising, supply chain, and store operations within China Resources Vanguard's multi-channel environment.

Blue Yonder Legacy Blue Yonder Demand Planning (ex JDA Demand Planning) Demand Forecasting and Planning SCM n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, China Resources Vanguard implemented Blue Yonder Demand Planning (ex JDA Demand Planning) as part of a coordinated deployment that also included JDA Demand, JDA Fulfillment and JDA Order Optimization. The initiative targeted Demand Forecasting and Planning across its large national retail footprint, supporting an omni-channel network and more than 3,162 self-operated stores reported in 2017. The implementation configured core forecasting and replenishment modules, combining statistical demand forecast engines with time-phased, network-wide automatic replenishment and order optimization capabilities. Blue Yonder Demand Planning was used to automate routine forecast execution, generate store-level replenishment recommendations and drive SKU-level order suggestions into fulfillment and order optimization processes. Operationally the solution was executed to effectively connect stores with distribution centers and upstream suppliers, enabling synchronized replenishment cycles across the supply chain. Integrations focused on operational handoffs between demand planning outputs and distribution and fulfillment workflows, aligning store demand signals with DC replenishment and supplier ordering windows. Governance shifted toward automated planning runbooks and centralized orchestration of replenishment cadence, replacing manual replenishment workflows with system-driven order generation and exception management. The deployment explicitly aimed to improve order fulfillment rates and customer satisfaction, using Blue Yonder Demand Planning to standardize demand capture, replenish stocks more accurately and improve service levels for consumers.
