In 2021 Citibank Hong Kong implemented Bravura GTAS to support Transfer Agency operations focused on ETF trade support and transfer agency change management. The deployment targeted ETF creation and redemption workflows and front-to-back transfer agency processing for the bank's Hong Kong TA and dealing teams.
Bravura GTAS was configured to handle trade booking, order management, dealing summaries, order confirmations and breakdown calculations, aligning system workflows with ETF creation and redemption processes. The implementation included transaction payment orchestration and fund setup capabilities from inception to operational go live, and the team instrumented reporting feeds to deliver daily KPIs and monthly reports.
The implementation integrated Bravura GTAS with the Advanced Citi ETF System ACES order portal to automate ETF order intake, and it interfaced with the payment portal during UAT and with GAS for TA reporting and Rightfax for order monitoring. Navigator was assessed alongside GTAS through FRD and BRD reviews to identify enhancement requirements and acceptance criteria.
Governance centered on formal FRD and BRD assessment cycles, UAT testing and stakeholder presentations with participant dealers, fund managers and registrars, and on operational handover to TA operations teams in Hong Kong. Routine activities included maintaining ETF order logs, responding to client enquiries, producing reports, and monitoring order flows through the integrated systems.
