Cityworks, a Trimble Company Legacy Cityworks Work Management Asset Performance Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, City of Frisco, TX implemented Cityworks Work Management as its Asset Performance Management solution. The deployment established a centralized asset and work management platform to consolidate municipal maintenance workflows and maintain a unified asset register under the application name Cityworks Work Management. Configuration focused on core Asset Performance Management capabilities, including work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, asset inventory and lifecycle tracking, inspection and regulatory compliance workflows, mobile field crew operations, and reporting and analytics. The City configured work types, scheduling rules, and maintenance plans to operationalize recurring maintenance and inspection routines within Cityworks Work Management. Cityworks Work Management was integrated with MUNIS, the municipality's financial and human capital system, to coordinate cost accounting, labor charging, and capital project accounting. The system also integrated with Incode, the utility billing system used to track and bill water and sewer usage, solid waste fees and stormwater fees, to align service orders and billing records with utility accounts. Operational coverage included utilities, public works, and solid waste functions across the City of Frisco municipal environment. Governance emphasized standardized work intake, asset data stewardship, and role based access controls for crews and supervisors. Rollout followed phased departmental adoption with configuration governance to enforce consistent asset taxonomy and work coding inside Cityworks Work Management.
