In 2017 City of Hope implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ERP to establish an enterprise financial platform categorized as ERP Financial. The initial deployment focused on standardizing finance and treasury operations across the healthcare system and aligning accounting, planning, and cash management workflows with a single application stack.
Oracle PeopleSoft ERP was configured to deliver core financial capabilities consistent with ERP Financial deployments, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury management and integrated financial reporting. Integrations were oriented around enterprise financial reporting and planning processes, covering centralized finance teams and finance business partners supporting clinical, research and corporate cost centers.
Governance emphasis centered on establishing a finance and treasury business partner model and formalized accounting and treasury workflows to drive consistent month end and cash operations. City of Hope retained Oracle PeopleSoft ERP as the primary ERP Financial system for transactional finance while leveraging Oracle EPM Cloud for planning and consolidation.

| Egencia LLC | Legacy | Egencia | Travel Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017 City of Hope implemented Egencia as its Travel Management application. The deployment centralized business travel booking and itinerary management for a 10,000 employee United States based healthcare organization, with a primary focus on executive travel and administrative scheduling.
Egencia was configured to support corporate booking workflows, traveler profiles, itinerary consolidation and policy based approval routing, aligning travel authorizations with institutional governance. Travel reservations and itinerary records were routinely used by administrative staff to prepare and proofread Word, Excel and PowerPoint materials, agendas and reports tied to departmental operations.
The implementation included an explicit integration between Egencia and PeopleSoft for expense preparation and reconciliation, with administrative users preparing expense reports in PeopleSoft that referenced Egencia travel entries. Operational coverage emphasized executive office needs, contract submission coordination for travel related services, and daily calendar maintenance for senior leaders, with administrative teams screening communications and routing nonroutine requests to appropriate stakeholders.
Governance incorporated a contract submission process that required data collection, submission for legal review, iterative revisions and finalization for execution of services. The travel workflow established expense report review and administration routines, and administrative leadership managed team coverage and mentoring to ensure consistent support for senior leaders while maintaining auditable records for approvals and expense controls.
