In 2019, Clario implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial platform. The implementation established Oracle E-Business Suite as the core financial system supporting Clario’s professional services finance operations across the U.S., Geneva operations in Switzerland, and European and Japanese affiliates.
Oracle E-Business Suite was configured to address core financial workflows, including general ledger consolidation, revenue recognition workflows, intercompany accounting and month-end close automation. The team formalized monthly close procedures and embedded revenue recognition controls and reporting capabilities within Oracle E-Business Suite to reduce manual reconciliation and timing variability.
The deployment automated and integrated acquired company ERP financial systems and MS Excel based revenue databases into Oracle E-Business Suite, creating a consolidated data flow for accounting and revenue processes. Configuration work and process redesign targeted elimination of intercompany transactions and centralized financial processing across Clario’s regional operations.
Governance and operational ownership were formalized through participation in Clario’s Global Accounting leaders committee, and a U.S. accounting operations lead directed four managers and a 24 person team to operate the system. As a result of the Oracle E-Business Suite implementation and associated process changes, Clario shortened the U.S. financial close from 8 business days to 5, shortened U.S. revenue recognition cycle time from 5 days to 3, and improved internal controls and reporting for customer rebate and royalty programs while increasing team satisfaction.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2021 | 2022 |
In 2021, Clario implemented Workday Absence Management to establish a centralized Absence and Leave Management capability across its HR technology stack. The deployment supported a global workforce that included a combined population of over 6,000 employees from a merger spanning 15 countries and the broader Clario organization of approximately 7,200 employees, positioning Workday Absence Management as the system of record for leave administration.
The implementation encompassed configuration of absence plans, accrual rules, eligibility and approval workflows typical of Absence and Leave Management solutions, and was delivered alongside core Workday HCM modules. Workday Absence Management was configured together with Time Tracking, Benefits, Payroll, security, and reporting modules to enable consistent leave processing, time integration for payroll eligibility, and consolidated HR analytics.
Integrations and operational coverage included data conversion activities tied to the merger, direct operational connectivity with Time Tracking and Payroll modules, and support workflows routed through ServiceNow for HR inquiries. The operational scope covered HR operations, payroll and benefits teams across the global employee base and was aligned with reporting needs for headcount and absence metrics.
Governance and process controls were instituted through structured security group maintenance, including segment based, intersection and role based security configurations, and an HRIS led cadence for audits, documentation and regression testing. The internal HRIS function maintained release intake for biannual Workday updates, performed root cause analysis on production issues, and sustained documentation and training to enforce consistent absence workflows.
The Workday Absence Management deployment was executed as part of a broader Workday program that included stabilization and optimization phases and parallel deployments such as Advanced Compensation globally. The program emphasis was on streamlining business processes and establishing centralized absence administration rather than on quantified outcome reporting.
