| Epicor | Legacy | Epicor Advanced MES (Mattec) | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, Clarios implemented Epicor Advanced MES (Mattec) in the ERP Financial category to support shop floor data capture and production reporting across multiple manufacturing sites. The deployment was managed as an enterprise MES program with a Senior MES Analyst responsible for daily support and cross-application coordination, and the implementation coexisted with other manufacturing systems including GE Proficy Shop Floor SPC and an industrial Historian.
Epicor Advanced MES (Mattec) was configured to feed operational intelligence for OEE, production, and downtime reporting, with SQL views created against the Mattec database to extract data for Power BI dashboards. The team developed and maintained C# .Net middleware to automate interfaces, including two bespoke applications that synchronize Mattec with SAP and with Prisma CMMS, and additional extract, transform, load routines to prepare data for downstream analytics and SPC consumption.
Operational coverage included seven plants supported under the Mattec program, with vendor relationship management and a formal support contract used to resolve issues and coordinate updates. As part of that governance the program upgraded all seven supported plants to the latest version of Epicor Advanced MES (Mattec) at no cost, and the support model integrated application-level monitoring and routine maintenance workflows handled by the internal MES team.
Governance and sustainment emphasized runbooks and end-user support materials hosted on the company SharePoint site, enabling handoffs between onshore and offshore support personnel and structured incident resolution. The implementation narrative centers on system integration, operational reporting, and program-level vendor coordination rather than on changes to enterprise ERP applications outside the stated ERP Financial category.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Taleo Cloud Service | Recruiting, Applicant Tracking System | HCM | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014, Clarios deployed Oracle Taleo Cloud Service as its applicant tracking platform. Oracle Taleo Cloud Service is positioned in the Recruiting,Applicant Tracking System category and was implemented to operate as the company career portal and external ATS on Clarios’s website, providing a public-facing job search and application intake channel. The implementation supported corporate talent acquisition and recruiting teams for the US-based automotive manufacturer with approximately 16,000 employees. Access to the recruiting application is provisioned through the Taleo career portal URL used by Clarios.
Configuration emphasized core Recruiting,Applicant Tracking System capabilities, including job requisition posting, online application capture, candidate tracking, and interview workflow orchestration consistent with typical ATS functionality. Oracle Taleo Cloud Service was configured to publish public job listings on the career site, collect applicant data through online forms, and provide role-based access for recruiters and hiring managers to manage candidate lifecycles. Governance centered on centralized administration of postings and candidate lifecycle controls within Taleo, aligning recruiting and talent acquisition operations to a single ATS instance.

| IBM | Legacy | IBM Maximo Application Suite | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, Clarios implemented IBM Maximo Application Suite for Enterprise Asset Management. The deployment supported an active Maximo EAM program that was upgraded to version 7.6.1 with all new servers and included the implementation of Maximo Anywhere to provide mobile access to field maintenance teams.
The Maximo implementation centered on asset and item master governance, with a completed project to cleanse item master data and institute a data governance process. The team implemented a failure mode analysis program to identify top problems and drive root cause remediation, while a six person support organization composed of on-shore and off-shore staff was established to resolve incidents, improve system reliability, and develop enhancements.
IBM Maximo Application Suite operates within a broader MES and CMMS ecosystem at Clarios that includes SAP, Prisma CMMS, Epicor Mattec MES, GE Proficy SPC, historians, and custom C# integration utilities. Specific integration work in the environment includes C# .Net interfaces and SQL views that move and transform operational data for reporting and system-to-system communication, and Maximo Anywhere was configured to extend EAM workflows to mobile endpoints.
Operational governance included extensive end-user and support documentation hosted on the company SharePoint site, formalized support contract management for related systems, and cross-functional coordination between MES, maintenance, and IT teams. Process changes emphasized master data stewardship and automated failure mode tracking to align maintenance execution with cleansed item and asset records.
A related outcome explicitly recorded in the environment was the resolution of a phantom inventory issue in SAP that removed the need to write off hundreds of thousands of dollars of inventory and eliminated the requirement to correct inventory discrepancies every shift. Clarios continues to maintain IBM Maximo Application Suite as the core Enterprise Asset Management platform within its plant operations and maintenance landscape.
