In 2015, Cognizant implemented FIS GETPAID. The deployment centered on FIS GETPAID as an AR Automation platform to consolidate accounts receivable workflows and transactional cash processes, with a primary focus on procurement and financial master and transactional data integration.
The implementation included configuration of accounts receivable workflows, cash application automation, and collections orchestration consistent with AR Automation capabilities. System design and development emphasized master data synchronization, invoice and payment transaction routing, and automated reconciliation touchpoints within the FIS GETPAID implementation.
Cognizant designed and developed a system integration layer between the enterprise ERP and satellite systems, explicitly linking Softshare, Ariba, Blackline, Catalyst, GetPaid and Concur to standardize procurement and financial master and transactional data flows. Integrations funneled procurement and expense records from Ariba and Concur into financial masters, while Blackline integration provided reconciliation and matching for transactional postings, and the integration layer used a mix of API and batch interfaces to orchestrate ledger postings. Governance focused on master data stewardship and defined transactional handoffs between procurement and finance to support consistent accounting and reconciliation processes.

In 1995, Cognizant implemented Workday Absence Management as a targeted component of its enterprise Absence and Leave Management program. The implementation placed Workday Absence Management within the HR Modernization portfolio to standardize leave policies, entitlements, and absence workflows across business units.
The deployment emphasized tenant configuration for absence types, eligibility rules, leave balance calculations, manager and employee notifications, complex condition routing, and business process orchestration. Workday Absence Management was configured alongside Workday Human Capital Management, Talent & Performance, Compensation Absence, Recruiting, Workforce Planning, People Analytics and Adaptive Insights to align data models and shared functional workflows.
Integrations were scoped with internal IT, Payroll and HR teams and planned with outside consultants and vendors to automate data flows supporting payroll reconciliation, time reporting handoffs, and HR transaction reporting. Operational responsibility rested with the HR Modernization team and HRIS HCM Analyst resources, who managed tenant setup, cross-functional requirements, and ongoing configuration maintenance.
Governance incorporated standardized process documentation, requirements validation, test development, deployment activities, and a defined modernization roadmap to guide iterative releases. The program included vendor management for onshore and offshore resources, structured stakeholder communication, and continuous process improvement around absence management workflows.

In 2016 Cognizant implemented AppWorx Workload Automation to orchestrate Business Process Management across its Oracle Applications technical operations. The deployment centered on automating batch scheduling and concurrent program orchestration within Oracle Apps, supporting development, support and enhancement activities during the August 2016 to February 2017 engagement period.
AppWorx Workload Automation was used to schedule Oracle concurrent programs and to orchestrate PL/SQL packages, procedures and functions as part of routine and ad hoc batch workflows. The implementation included automation of SQL loader jobs and use of database links for data movement, and it coordinated interface processing for procure to pay and order to cash cycles.
Integrations were explicitly tied to Oracle Applications AOL constructs, including concurrent requests, request groups, profiles, value sets and lookup objects, and to finance and procurement data interfaces for PO, AP, AR and GL. Operational coverage spanned development, migration and reconciliation tasks for object and data migrations, and ticketed issue resolution was managed through Remedy for operational support.
Governance and process controls included creation of quality plans and documentation artifacts captured in MD 70 and MD 120 solution documents, along with reconciliation procedures after migrations on each instance. The work emphasized scheduling discipline, interface validation and runbook style controls to standardize Business Process Management for batch and transactional interface workflows.
