In 2017, CohnReznick implemented Adrenalin Max Payroll as part of an Adrenalin HCM cloud model to centralize Payroll and core HR operations. The deployment addressed previously siloed HR systems that made routine tasks complex and time consuming, unifying payroll and HR administrative workflows. Adrenalin Max Payroll served as the Payroll application within a broader HCM suite used by the firm.
Configuration and module adoption included HR Foundation, Employee Life-Cycle, Workforce Administration, Payroll and Mobile HCM. Workflows were configured to automate routine HR and payroll processes, and Mobile HCM provided employee self service for lifecycle events and payroll access, reducing manual intervention for transactional tasks.
Adrenalin’s HCM solutions were integrated with CohnReznick’s existing HR framework to consolidate data flows across workforce administration and employee life cycle processes, supporting seasonal hiring workflows critical to the business. The implementation impacted HR operations, payroll processing, and workforce administration functions, enabling consistent process orchestration across those teams.
Governance and rollout were executed over a four month implementation window, with process centralization and workflow restructuring that reduced dependency on HR for routine employee requests. CohnReznick reported increased employee engagement and easier user adoption of the HCM, and noted that Adrenalin customer support and product teams provided on call responsiveness for issue resolution.

The deployment targeted data-driven audit workflows and financial compliance analysis across internal audit and engagement teams.

Operational deployment ran within a Windows desktop environment and relied on Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation, with SharePoint present in the end-user environment for collaboration. Governance and sustainment were staffed by internal Tier III Application Support and Tech Support analysts, with ticketing and asset workflows executed through Numara-Footprints and Altiris. Ongoing technical support covered installation, configuration, scripting support, and end-user troubleshooting for Caseware IDEA across engagement teams.
