In 2013, CommCare Corporation implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP as its ERP Financial system. The deployment centralized core financial processing for the corporate office and a network of 14 to 16 nursing home facilities and hospice operations, establishing a single financial ledger and reporting layer across sites.
Core modules and configurations focused on General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll accounting and year-end W-2 processing, tax reporting, and financial statement preparation and budgeting. The Microsoft Dynamics GP implementation was used to drive month end close activities, subsidiary account reconciliation, and routine accounting entries for assets, liabilities, revenue and expense ledgers.
Operational workflows explicitly linked payroll processing with KRONOS time and attendance inputs to capture multi-site labor data, while staff proficiency noted use of PeopleSoft HR, Oracle, AHT, MUMMS, and Point Click Care as part of the broader application landscape. Accounts Payable and sales and use tax workflows were configured to support monthly and quarterly state and parish filings, and the environment supported filings of federal forms such as 941, state L-1 filings, SUTA reports and multi-worksite tax reporting.
Governance and process responsibilities were retained by internal accounting and payroll teams, who handled federal and state tax deposits, 941 filings and the complete processing of year-end W-2s, and supported external auditors during reviews. Documented operational outcomes include correction of a General Ledger accounts receivable variance of thirty thousand dollars and routine reconciliation and audit support activities, reflecting ongoing use of Microsoft Dynamics GP for core accounting controls.

| UKG | Legacy | UKG Dimensions HR (ex Kronos Workforce Dimensions Core HR) | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2013 | 2013 |
In 2013, CommCare Corporation implemented UKG Dimensions HR (ex Kronos Workforce Dimensions Core HR) to centralize workforce and payroll operations across its healthcare network. The deployment targeted Core HR functions across 16 nursing home facilities, an affiliated hospice service and the corporate office, establishing a single platform for employee records, time capture and payroll processing.
Configuration focused on time and attendance consolidation and multi-site payroll processing, using UKG Dimensions HR for time validation, pay calculation and year-end W-2 generation. The implementation supported federal and state payroll tax workflows, handling tax deposits and filings including Form 941, Louisiana L-1, quarterly SUTA and multiple worksite reporting obligations.
The solution operated in conjunction with enterprise systems in use at the organization, including PeopleSoft HR, Oracle financial components and Great Plains for accounts payable and general ledger activities, with KRONOS Time and Attendance processes providing primary time data inputs. Microsoft Office was used for operational reporting and spreadsheet reconciliation while accounts payable processing for facilities was coordinated with payroll cycles and tax reporting timelines.
Governance centralized payroll execution and compliance responsibilities, with a consolidated team responsible for processing payroll across all sites and for federal and state tax remittance, quarterly and annual filings, and annual W-2 processing from February 2013 through February 2021. UKG Dimensions HR supported CommCare Corporation business functions of payroll, workforce administration and compliance by standardizing configuration, scheduling and operational controls across the company.

In 2023, CommCare Corporation implemented GovCMS PECOS within its Admissions and Enrollment Management workflows. The deployment began May 2023 supporting the Kansas City, MO credentialing team and positioned GovCMS PECOS as the center of Medicare and payer enrollment processing for the organization's credentialing function.
GovCMS PECOS was configured to manage PECOS-based Medicare enrollment submissions and to orchestrate core credentialing modules including provider enrollment intake, primary source verification, recredentialing scheduling, and provider roster maintenance. The implementation included CAQH account management and alignment with NCQA standards as part of the application configuration. GovCMS PECOS was used to track active credentials such as state medical licenses, DEA and BNDD registrations, CME, BLS and board certifications.
The implementation integrated with the Medicare PECOS submission workflow and an I & A system for access, and it operationally relied on external verification sources such as National Student Clearinghouse, NPDB and Streamline Verify for primary source checks. Functional processing supported payor application submissions to government and managed care payors for LPC, LMSW, LCSW and CP providers, and sustained recredentialing cycles. Business functions impacted included provider credentialing, payer enrollment, and contracting support for new client presentations prepared with the Credentialing Director.
Governance and workflow restructuring centralized credentialing processes under the Credentialing Director, with documented recredentialing schedules and renewal trace workflows for licenses and registrations maintained in GovCMS PECOS. Ongoing operational responsibilities captured in the Admissions and Enrollment Management application included maintaining accurate provider rosters and instrumenting renewals and verifications for all clinical staff.
