The implementation configured core Microsoft Dynamics GP Accounts Payable capabilities such as invoice entry and validation, vendor ledger management, voucher posting, payment scheduling, and automated GL posting to support month end workflows. Workflows were organized around invoice matching and approval routing consistent with AP Automation practices, with configuration focused on transactional controls and auditability. Accounting staff used Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics as the operational interface to perform billing validation, accounts payable and receivable maintenance, bank reconciliations, general ledger upkeep, and invoice preparation for customers including Costco, Home Depot, and Amazon. These day to day activities demonstrate the system s role in handling vendor records, collections, credit note processing, and document filing within the AP Automation scope. Governance emphasized standardized invoice data entry, reconciliations and vendor record maintenance, with rollout centered on the accounting team and accounting technician workflows.
