Coupa Software Legacy Coupa Invoice AP Automation ERP Financial Management n/a 2019 2019
In 2019 Cooper Standard implemented Coupa Invoice as part of a broader Coupa BSM rollout to address fragmented indirect procurement and accounts payable workflows. The Coupa Invoice deployment functions as the AP Automation layer within a companywide Procure-to-Pay program that also included Coupa Procurement and Coupa Contracts, targeting spend visibility, process efficiency, and user adoption across procurement and finance functions. The implementation consolidated previously distributed indirect procurement systems onto a single Coupa platform, with the Coupa Invoice and Coupa Invoicing capabilities configured to enable touchless invoice processing and PO matching. The program went live in six months for North America, and configuration emphasized catalog management, invoice automation, and supplier enablement to drive a higher percentage of electronic and PO-driven transactions. Coupa Invoice integrated with Cooper Standards existing ERP and Workday systems to synchronize supplier, catalog, and financial master data, enabling a cohesive flow from requisition through invoice settlement. Operational coverage linked procurement, accounts payable, and finance teams and supported rollout governance across multiple business units, while supplier onboarding and catalog consolidation reduced manual touchpoints. Governance and operational outcomes were explicit, with Cooper Standard achieving 100% user adoption, 80% touchless invoicing, a 75% reduction in p-card spend, and 12% savings in maintenance repair and operations costs. The deployment positioned Cooper Standard to centralize AP Automation and procure-to-pay controls, improving enforceability of global compliance and visibility into indirect spend.

Workday Legacy Workday HCM Core HR HCM n/a 2015 2018
In 2015, Cooper Standard implemented Workday HCM as its Core HR platform for global human capital management. The deployment established a centralized system for HCM administration to support employee records, talent workflows and performance processes across its global HR operations. Workday HCM coverage included HCM administration, data accuracy controls, user support, system maintenance, troubleshooting and the creation of a performance management process. The program included migration of Performance Reviews from SuccessFactors to Workday for all Salary Employees, and performance management workflows were configured inside Workday HCM to consolidate review cycles. Integrations and interface stewardship included ADP, Taleo and SuccessFactors, with ADP support explicitly covering reporting, imports and interface maintenance. Training and adoption materials were produced for Ancile uPerform to support end user onboarding, while global Workday support responsibilities were performed from an HRIS perspective. Operational governance incorporated the HR Service Delivery Model, which Cooper Standard assisted in designing and implementing through the end of 2016, and established processes for system ownership, data governance and HR service delivery workflows. An Associate HRIS Specialist role provided ongoing Workday support, handling user support, configuration maintenance and troubleshooting to sustain the Core HR deployment.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2013 2018
In 2013, Cooper Standard implemented Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) to centralize Analytics and BI reporting across manufacturing, marketing and sales functions. The engagement included moving data from SQL Server 2000 databases into SQL Server 2005 and consolidating datasets onto a centralized SQL Server platform to support enterprise reporting. The implementation delivered core Microsoft BI components, with SSIS used to create ETL packages that validate, extract, transform and load data into data warehouse databases, SSRS used for report generation, and SSAS included in the BI toolset for analytical modeling. Development work produced complex stored procedures, triggers, functions, indexes, tables, views and T SQL code to support reporting logic and query performance, and packages leveraged BIDS as the development environment. Integrations focused on heterogeneous input sources, with SSIS packages extracting data from flat files, Excel, CSV and text formats along with Microsoft SQL Server instances including SQL Server 2008. ETL design used Lookup, Fuzzy Lookup, Derived Column, Conditional Split, Term Extraction, Aggregate, Pivot and Slowly Changing Dimension transformations to normalize and enrich data prior to loading into the centralized SQL Server data store. Reports created with SSRS 2005 provided periodic manufacturing survey outputs and inventories of raw data used for manufacturing, marketing and sales analysis across multiple divisions and time frames. Operational governance included deployment of packages from development to production servers and cross functional collaboration with application developers and production teams to identify business requirements and review solution options. The rollout emphasized repeatable ETL processes and promoted shared ownership between data engineering and business units for ongoing Analytics and BI operations.
