| IBM | Legacy | IBM Maximo | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, Crown Resorts implemented IBM Maximo as its Enterprise Asset Management platform, establishing a formalized system for asset lifecycle and maintenance orchestration. The IBM Maximo deployment served as the primary application for recording asset registers, scheduling maintenance, and supporting operational work order workflows across hospitality and gaming facilities.
The implementation emphasized core Enterprise Asset Management capabilities, including work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, inventory and spare parts control, mobile workforce enablement, and asset lifecycle tracking. IBM Maximo was configured to support standard maintenance automation, asset hierarchies, and role based access for operations and engineering teams.
Integrations were executed to tie Maximo into Crown Resorts operations, leveraging Azure iPaaS for integration orchestration and point to point links with Workday, a Warehouse Management System, Point of Sale platforms, Opera for hotel systems, SKIDATA for parking operations, and ServiceNow for incident and service request handoffs. These integrations aligned asset and inventory records with HR custodianship, procurement and stock flows, guest facing systems, and ITSM driven incident workflows.
Governance and rollout were supported by an internal QA and testing program, using defined test strategy and master test plans, with test management in Zephyr, defect tracking in JIRA, and documentation in Confluence. Testing and validation efforts covered Gaming, Loyalty and Corporate streams, focusing on end to end scenarios and module level integration validation for IBM Maximo.
