Deltek SAP ERP ECC 6.0 Deltek CostPoint ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2014 2014
In 2014, CSRA implemented Deltek CostPoint as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment replaced SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and concentrated on consolidating core financial management and project accounting for an 18,000 employee professional services firm. The Deltek CostPoint implementation was configured around core financial management modules, including project accounting, accounts payable, general ledger and billing workflows. Configuration work emphasized standardizing chart of accounts, project cost capture and revenue recognition rules, with CostPoint serving as the system of record for financial transactions and project cost structures. Deltek CostPoint was integrated with a suite of adjacent systems, including Deltek Time and Expense for time capture and labor allocations, Concur for travel and expense feeds, Asentinel for telecom expense management and OnBase by Hyland for invoice tracking and approval. Integrations focused on synchronizing project and employee master data, feeding time and expense information into CostPoint for billing and payroll reconciliation, and routing invoices from OnBase into CostPoint accounts payable processes. Governance and operational ownership rested with internal teams managing a mix of functional and technical skills to implement, integrate and maintain the environment. Rollout included reworking timekeeping and invoice approval workflows to align with CostPoint transaction controls, and establishing ongoing maintenance processes to support financial operations across project accounting, AP and expense management.

Workday Legacy Workday HCM Core HR HCM n/a 2012 2017
In 2012, CSRA implemented Workday HCM to centralize Core HR processes across its HR organization. The nine month implementation delivered Core HR and benefits functionality within a compressed timeline, with project leads providing architectural oversight and serving as system security administrators. Implementation scope included configuration and data conversion for approximately 6,000 active and 18,000 terminated employee records and coverage of Core HR, benefits, performance and compensation processes. Workday HCM was configured for Core HR master data, benefits eligibility, enrollment and change rules, performance reviews including mid year reviews and year end appraisals, and support for the annual merit process. The team created complex calculated fields and custom reporting, and developed a BIRT report to produce Employee Severance Agreements as an integrated PDF within the Severance business process. New Hire and Change Job workflows were automated using complex EIBs to streamline onboarding and job updates. The program mapped requirements for more than 45 integrations and implemented Cloud Connect benefit integrations, working closely with ITS to provide file specifications and perform integration testing. Segment security for worker documents and EIBs was implemented as part of Workday HCM governance, and the project team administered overall system security. Data work included analysis, mapping, conversion and auditing of HR and benefit data prior to go live. Governance processes established during the rollout included tracking and prioritizing enhancement requests, proactive review of Workday release notes, and delivery of operational documentation and training materials for Core HR and Benefit stakeholders. HR Business Partners collaborated to develop Workday business processes to replace existing manual workflows, creating operational ownership for integration maintenance, security administration and annual HR cycles. The implementation delivered all in scope functionality within the compressed timeline and institutionalized configuration and process controls for ongoing Core HR operations.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2013 2018
In 2013, CSRA implemented Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) to centralize reporting and analytics for its U.S. government service portfolios, including national security, civil government, and public health engagements. The deployment leveraged Microsoft BI components on an MS SQL Server 2008/2008R2 platform, with development and design work performed in Visual Studio 2012, aligning the implementation to Analytics and BI use cases across program reporting and operational analytics. The implementation centered on SQL Server Reporting Services as the primary delivery layer, using Report Designer and Report Builder to produce cascading parameters, filters, matrix reports, parameterized reports, drill-down and drill-through workflows. SSIS was used to orchestrate ETL and feed relational reporting datasets, while T-SQL queries, expressions, functions, and global variables were embedded in reports to support periodic and statistical analysis. The team built dashboard reports and custom report layouts, and authored server-deployable reports that used scheduled execution to support recurring reporting needs. Operational coverage included organizing report catalogs and data sources within the SSRS administration interface, scheduling report execution, and providing ongoing maintenance and user support for deployed reports. Reporting output was consumable in Microsoft Excel and integrated with downstream operational processes for program management and analytics. Where analytical modeling was required, the Microsoft BI stack allowed for SSAS-based multidimensional modeling consistent with Analytics and BI workflows. Governance and process work included gathering user requirements and system specifications to define report parameters and layout standards, and establishing support processes for report maintenance and user requests. CSRA provided administration of the reporting interface and handled scheduling and access to data sources, maintaining operational continuity for report consumers without external implementation partner references.
