| Tungsten Automation | Legacy | Tungsten AP Invoice Automation | AP Automation | ERP | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, Currys implemented Tungsten AP Invoice Automation to reduce invoice exceptions across its accounts payable operations. Currys processed approximately 90% of its invoices through high end EDI software and other channels, yet the business continued to see high volumes of misdirected or incorrectly populated invoices that required manual correction.
The Tungsten AP Invoice Automation deployment focused on core AP Automation capabilities, including automated invoice capture and data validation, exception detection and routing, and supplier profile normalization to support multi entity processing. Configuration emphasized rule based validation to reduce manual touch points and to standardize invoice data across Currys entities and supplier formats.
Operationally the solution was designed to complement existing EDI flows and other invoice submission channels, enabling a single AP intake stream that could interoperate with high end EDI processing already in place. The scope covered Currys accounts payable teams and the companys manifold entities and supplier community, aligning invoice handling across entity boundaries and supplier variants.
Governance centered on centralized invoice validation and exception workflow, with supplier onboarding and data quality controls introduced to reduce misrouting and incorrect submissions. The implementation is reported to have minimized invoicing exceptions while supporting Currys multi entity supplier network, demonstrating application level control of invoice intake within AP Automation.

| SAP | Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS | SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2016 | 2017 |
In 2016, Currys implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as its Core HR platform, replacing Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS. The initiative established SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the central cloud-based system for core HR data and workforce administration across the group.
The implementation covered Employee Central core HR capabilities and deployed time management functionality including a Time Sheet rollout at DCG head office. The program included technical responsibility for migration of colleagues onto an SAP on premise payroll solution and continuity of self service HR workflows as part of the Core HR consolidation.
Architecturally the program leveraged a cloud integration platform and managed file transfer solutions to connect the new cloud HR layer with SAP S4 HANA and on premise payroll components. The engagement referenced integrations and payroll interfacing workstreams that previously included Oracle HR payroll integrations with Kronos, and these integration patterns were transitioned into the SuccessFactors deployment.
Operational delivery was run with mixed onsite and offshore teams of business analysts and delivery engineers, utilising multiple suppliers and managed services arrangements. The rollout included formal transition to operational teams and handover to the support partner Edenhouse, alongside established service improvement plans and second and third line application support processes that were used during the prior Oracle E Business Suite era with Atos and Accenture.
The implementation supported a large scale SAP SuccessFactors Cloud HR deployment covering roughly 30,000 employees across the group, and the Time Sheet rollout delivered an explicitly stated annual saving of circa £140,000 at the head office. Technical ownership covered integrations, MFT solutions and payroll migration activities, with governance focused on partner SLA adherence and operational readiness.

In 2011, Currys implemented Oracle MICROS Retail Xstore Point-of-Service. The deployment delivered Point Of Sale capabilities that served store transaction capture and acted as a primary data source feeding workforce and payroll processes.
Oracle MICROS Retail Xstore Point-of-Service was configured to support colleague deployment workflows, time capture handoffs, and point of sale transaction logging, enabling bottom up payroll modelling and payroll distribution across operational cost centres. Functional coverage called out in the program included payroll distribution, corrections and pay accuracy workflows tied to POS activity and downstream payroll processing.
Integrations were explicitly implemented with Reflexis Workforce Scheduler, Kronos W/F Central and Micros ePerformance to align scheduling, time and performance data with payroll distribution and colleague deployment. The integration architecture consolidated multiple WFM feeds to provide full end to end accountability for circa £600m of payroll spend across 1,350 cost centres.
Operational scope spanned store operations and payroll processing teams, with governance organized around centralized accountability for payroll modelling, correction workflows and cross system reconciliation between POS and workforce management systems. The Currys Oracle MICROS Retail Xstore Point-of-Service Point Of Sale implementation linked retail transaction data to payroll and workforce management business functions to support ongoing pay accuracy and deployment controls.
