The solution architecture combined Oracle Fusion SaaS modules with platform services for orchestration, integration and visual application components to maintain synchronized transactional and master data across order to cash, procure to pay and HR processes. Data exchange designs included API based and middleware mediated interfaces consistent with the Oracle PaaS toolset.
Operational governance emphasized production support and defect management led by an 11 person implementation team, responsible for ongoing support of the existing EBS environment during transition. Day to day activities included identifying and analyzing defects, participating in daily defect meetings with the development team, troubleshooting and delivering timely fixes and process enhancements. The rollout approach combined migration, customization, production support and operational handover, with reporting and analytics support provisioned through Oracle Analytics Cloud for finance and operational stakeholders.
