Datto developed ACCOUNT MASTER to de-duplicate 460K accounts across six disparate invoicing and CRM systems down to fewer than 280K accounts, and to aggregate more than 250 account attributes using over twenty custom coded aggregation algorithms. Datto also developed SUBSCRIPTION MASTER to produce a fully automated daily forward looking representation of Monthly Recurring Revenue across five invoicing systems and to express complex contract terms including pending deals transfers free months trials dynamic usage and retroactive changes. Integrations and operational coverage included consolidation across six invoicing and CRM sources and explicit alignment to Salesforce where the deduplicated account set forms Datto’s Salesforce Account List. The program also contained SHERPA PHASES 1 through 3 a multi phase migration that re articulated customer subscriptions for migration to NetSuite, transforming pricing discounting ordering and provisioning in ways that preserved revenue neutrality. Governance and process instrumentation included a fully automated monthly recognition engine called 606 SQL which was created as an interim ASC 606 solution and was expected to be a stopgap until Zuora RevPro could be implemented. 606 SQL has been used since December 2019 and contains automation for deriving List Price and BOM costs for custom deals. The combined footprint of Zuora Revenue, ACCOUNT MASTER, SUBSCRIPTION MASTER and the SHERPA program centralized subscription data governance and established the foundation for Datto’s internal and investor facing reporting.
