In 2016 Delaware International decided it is time to go through a digital transformation in order to support its rapid international expansion with standardized, streamlined business processes across all 27 offices and to serve as a showcase for its own customers.
As part of their enterprise-wide program, the company co-innovated with SAP to become the first live customer for the SAP S/4HANA Cloud solution.
Outcome and Implications
Delaware International decided to disrupt itself and its digital process by replacing its legacy system with SAP S/4HANA Cloud as its new ERP system. To cover its business processes end-to-end from project creation through billing to HR and analytics, SAP S/4HANA Cloud was complemented by SAP SuccessFactors as a master platform for all HR processes covering company's 350 users - including operations, performance management, and training -, and third-party scheduling and travel management solutions.
Integrated into the portal is SAP Analytics Cloud for full transparency into all critical aspects of the business, such as capacity utilization, employee profitability, and financials.
