In 2018, DEVK Insurance implemented Pega Platform as its Business Process Management solution. The engagement was executed with Saltech Consulting, assigning a Lead System Architect and a Pega BPM Consultant to development, deployment and ongoing support, targeting sales and customer decisioning workflows.
DEVK implemented Pega Sales Automation and Pega Customer Decision Hub on the Pega Platform. The implementation included case management and process orchestration for multistep sales lifecycles, a decisioning layer for customer segmentation and next best action logic, and centralized rule repositories that allow business users to update offer and eligibility logic without code changes.
The deployment was structured as a centralized Pega Platform instance serving sales, marketing and customer service functions across DEVK in Germany. Integration patterns were built to exchange data with core backend systems such as CRM, policy administration and billing feeds, using service interfaces and event driven decision triggers to surface real time recommendations from the Customer Decision Hub into operational workflows.
Governance was organized between DEVK line of business owners and the Saltech Consulting architecture team, with the Lead System Architect and Pega BPM Consultant owning release governance, rule change management and operational handover. Role based rule editing, controlled deployment pipelines and documented maintenance responsibilities were put in place so business stakeholders could manage next best action rules while Saltech retained platform upgrade and integration maintenance duties.
