In 2013 Dong Tam Group deployed Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial platform to centralize group finance and management accounting across its manufacturing subsidiaries. The implementation targeted finance and management accounting functions, positioning Oracle E-Business Suite to support consolidated reporting, period close, and management-level financial analysis for the Group.
Configuration emphasized core financial ledgers and transaction controls aligned with cost accounting. The deployment incorporated cost accounting workflows implementing both Actual costing and Standard Costing methods, revenue and costing data models, accounts receivable and accounts payable controls, and cash flow reporting. Oracle E-Business Suite was used to generate merged financial reports and maintain a revenue database and costing database for analytic and management purposes.
Operational coverage extended to the Group finance organization and chief accountants of sub-companies, with the ERP team and finance leads working together to develop a merge data report for consolidation. Monthly processes were instrumented to evaluate KPIs across sub-companies and the Group, including revenue, actual cost, inventory, and profit, and to control the age of receivables and payables.
Governance and process restructuring accompanied the technical deployment, including establishment of a dedicated management accounting department, standardized templates and reporting processes, and introduction of a cash flow report and debt recovery policy. The Oracle E-Business Suite implementation was thus embedded into revised finance workflows, enabling standardized costing methods and consolidated management reporting across Dong Tam Group.

In 2021, Dong Tam Group deployed FreshDesk Customer Support on its website to centralize incoming customer inquiries for its manufacturing operations in Vietnam. The implementation uses the FreshDesk Customer Support platform as a cloud-hosted SaaS intake and case management layer, capturing web form and portal submissions from the public site and routing them into a centralized ticket queue for the customer service organization. This positions FreshDesk Customer Support as Dong Tam Group's Customer Support application supporting customer service workflows.
Configuration and operational setup emphasize Customer Support functional elements common to the category, including ticketing and queuing, knowledge base driven self-service, SLA and priority rules, and automation for routing and escalation, with role-based agent access controls.
