In 2017, Draeger implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its ERP Financial platform to centralize financial management and standardize core accounting processes across the organization. The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 implementation is positioned as the primary ERP Financial application for finance and controlling workflows, with the full application name SAP ERP ECC 6.0 referenced in architecture and operational documentation. Configuration focused on core financial management capabilities typical of the ERP Financial category, including general ledger processing, accounts payable and receivable workflows, and controlling related to operational finance processes. The implementation incorporated SAP Business Warehouse and SAP BusinessObjects business intelligence solutions to provide consolidated reporting and analytics, while SAP Process Integration was used to orchestrate data flows and interface transactions between systems. Operational rollout emphasized established management, technical monitoring, system landscape management, and business process management that help streamline operations, with SAP Solution Manager used to incorporate innovations and recent technology into the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 environment. Integrations with SAP Business Warehouse, SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Process Integration, and SAP GRC formed the backbone of the deployed SAP-centric landscape supporting the ERP Financial implementation.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service Field Service Management ERP Services and Operations Avanade 2020 2021
In 2020, Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service as part of a companywide Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM deployment to establish a global Field Service Management platform. The rollout positioned Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service alongside Dynamics 365 Sales and Dynamics 365 Customer Service to provide a single cloud CRM foundation for sales, service and customer service across the manufacturing organization. The implementation consolidated functionality that had been built into Dräger’s earlier CRM 2011 environment, adopting standard Dynamics 365 capabilities while extending them with a specially developed mobile field service solution. Avanade was engaged to develop the mobile Field Service application, which was configured to operate offline for technicians working underground, at remote industrial sites or in high security areas, and to include typical field service workflows such as service order management, work scheduling and mobile job execution. Operational integrations and platform choices were explicit in the design, the solution runs on Microsoft cloud technologies and is intended to ingest device telemetry to enable predictive and preventive maintenance. Dynamics 365 was configured to route incoming customer inquiries, including planned social media feeds, into the CRM and to map device data into service order planning, aligning field service work with equipment maintenance signals. The migration and governance approach was phased and data centric, Dräger executed a multiwave migration over two years with five waves of user moves, continuous parallel operation of the old CRM 2011 on-premises systems during transition, and ongoing data quality initiatives to assign customer records to the appropriate sales owners. Country rollouts were managed in parallel on Dynamics 365, with data cleansing and process harmonization treated as core governance activities to support international account consistency. Stated outcomes from the project included shortened customer response times and faster ability to extend CRM functionality through the SaaS Dynamics 365 platform, with Dynamics 365 now forming the IT foundation for global customer engagement. Microsoft Success Management was identified as a long term support channel as Dräger plans further exploitation of predictive maintenance and expanded field service automation.
