In 2016, Druva implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial system. The deployment provided a financial system of record to manage demand generation and marketing budgets while formalizing collaboration between the Demand Generation team and corporate finance.
Configuration emphasized budget management, expense tracking, general ledger consolidation and financial reporting capabilities common to ERP Financial deployments, tailored to marketing cost centers and campaign spending. Oracle NetSuite ERP was used to monitor team spend and to support the Budget Manager in approvals and ongoing spend tracking for the Demand Gen organization.
Marketing operations continued to execute campaign rollouts and performance analysis in Marketo, Looker and SFDC, and engaged audiences via On24, Zoom and Conversica; Oracle NetSuite ERP operated alongside these platforms as the financial backbone rather than as a campaign analytics tool. Governance practices included the Budget Manager working with cross functional finance teams for spend management and reconciliation, and defined handoffs between marketing operations and finance for campaign expense allocation and monitoring.
