In 2021, EDP Group's renewables business EDP Renewables deployed UKG Wellbeing at Work within a Performance and Goal Management context to support HR and frontline workforce continuity across North America. The deployment targeted workforce-continuity and wellbeing use cases rather than traditional performance appraisal workflows, aligning the application with operational health screening and incident response needs.
UKG Wellbeing at Work was configured to run pre-shift wellness surveys and contact-tracing workflows and to surface workforce-continuity dashboards for central monitoring. The implementation leveraged the Workforce Continuity and Wellbeing at Work capabilities to automate daily employee check ins and capture screening data for operational teams and HR administrators.
This was an HR and workforce-management deployment that explicitly supported frontline operations across North America, with dashboards used by HR and operations teams to prioritize employee wellbeing and continuity planning. The solution emphasized pre-shift screening, centralized status reporting, and contact tracing as the primary functional modules deployed.
Operational governance centered on using the wellbeing features to orchestrate employee check ins and crisis response workflows, with HR accountable for administering surveys and monitoring dashboards.
