A core architectural task was converting the Progress database to SQL Server, a process developed and tested while remaining on Epicor 9 to enable a cleaner cutover to Epicor ERP 10. The technical approach centered on database migration, SQL Server based deployment architecture, and application-layer configuration within Epicor ERP 10 to support financial and operational workflows across Electroimpact’s manufacturing-focused business.
Project governance included a named Epicor ERP 10 Project Specialist role from March 2016 through April 2018, which coordinated conversion scripts, customization decisions, and configuration standards.
