| SAP | Legacy | SAP S/4HANA for Receivables Management | AR Automation | ERP Financial Management | Serrala | 2022 | 2022 | In 2022 Electrolux Poland implemented SAP S/4HANA for Receivables Management to automate accounts receivable processing within its European shared services organization, targeting bank-statement and remittance-advice workflows as part of an AR Automation initiative. The deployment focused on centralizing AR and finance operational processes for incoming payments and improving visibility into cash application across the shared services footprint. Configuration centered on automated bank-statement processing, remittance-advice ingestion, rule-based automatic matching, cash application and exception handling. SAP S/4HANA for Receivables Management was configured to support matching logic and workflow-driven exception queues, enabling finance teams to shift more activity from manual reconciliation to exception resolution. The implementation integrated Serrala FS² AutoBank into Electroluxs SAP ERP landscape, feeding bank statements and remittance information directly into SAP S/4HANA for Receivables Management and orchestrating automated posting and matching. Integration architecture emphasized file-level connectivity and transaction-level enrichment, aligning Serrala delivered components with SAP master data and AR posting objects. Governance and operational rollout were executed through the European shared services center, with Serrala as the systems integrator supporting the FS² AutoBank integration and operational handover. Within about 14 months the program achieved approximately 67 percent automatic matching across incoming payments, reducing processing time and improving visibility for AR and finance teams. | |
