| SAP | Legacy | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2010 | 2011 |
In 2010, Eneco implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as a core enterprise resource planning platform, explicitly targeting ERP Financial capabilities for its utilities operations in the Netherlands. The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 implementation was positioned to unify financial accounting and integrate financial control across operational modules used by the company.
The deployment configured SAP modules aligned with SAP EAM and logistics competencies, specifically implementing Plant Maintenance PM, Materials Management MM, Sales and Distribution SD, and Customer Service CS alongside Financial Accounting and Controlling. Configuration work included asset management and maintenance planning workflows in PM, inventory and procure to pay processes in MM, order to cash and billing flows in SD, and customer service ticketing and service order handling in CS, all mapped to financial posting structures in ERP Financial.
Operational coverage centered on finance, procurement, maintenance, sales, customer service, and logistics teams within Eneco, with master data domains standardized to support cross module transactions. The implementation emphasized cross module integration inside SAP ERP ECC 6.0, ensuring material master, equipment and asset records, sales orders, service orders, and inventory movements generated consistent financial postings in the ERP Financial ledger.
Governance established role based functional ownership for PM, MM, SD, CS and finance, with centralized master data stewardship and process owners in finance and operations to manage configuration, change control, and operational handover. Rollout practices followed phased module enablement and alignment of maintenance and logistics processes to financial control requirements, preserving auditability and operational continuity.

| Verint Systems | Legacy | Verint Workforce Management | Workforce Management | HCM | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014, Eneco implemented Verint Workforce Management to centralize scheduling and planning for its front office workforce. The Verint Workforce Management deployment focused on Workforce Management functions, with explicit responsibility for scheduling front office employees and maintaining management planning applications including Verint and Witness.
The implementation concentrated on modules for forecasting, forecast accuracy, reporting and data analysis across short and long term horizons. Teams developed, innovated and managed a suite of reports and applications in Microsoft Access and Excel to support Forecast and Forecast Accuracy workflows, and undertook optimization of reporting tools in response to evolving Workforce Management processes. The Verint Workforce Management application was used as the primary engine for workforce forecasting and trend recognition.
Integrations and operational coverage included coexisting management planning applications, specifically Witness for training planning and Verint for workforce planning. Operational scope covered front office scheduling, planning functions and HR related activities such as issuing and registering leave, and provisioning and planning employee training courses via Witness. Reporting and data analysis workflows were instrumented to support both operational scheduling and medium term capacity planning.
Governance and rollout emphasized stakeholder engagement and user adoption through development of roadshows and ongoing report innovation. Day to day operational governance included centralized management of planning applications, regular updates to reporting artifacts, and responsibility for workforce forecasting and trend recognition activities. Verint Workforce Management was maintained as the central Workforce Management platform supporting planning, scheduling, training coordination and reporting at Eneco.

| ORTEC | Legacy | ORTEC Service Planning | Field Service Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, Eneco implemented ORTEC Service Planning. The ORTEC Service Planning deployment, classified as Field Service Management, was introduced to address a high rate of missed appointments and to optimize workforce utilization across Eneco's field engineering operations.
The implementation embedded ORTEC's algorithmic scheduling and routing engines together with explicit operational roles, including an order manager who approves engineer assignments and a capacity manager who analyzes long term calendar capacity and suggests where additional customers can be invited for maintenance visits. Functional capabilities implemented include automated route optimization, capacity forecasting, and a proposed maintenance schedule that proactively manages annual maintenance contract obligations and refines itself over time.
Customer facing appointmenting was digitized by Mendix partner Clevr, which provided a self-service scheduling front end that feeds options with varying sustainability levels into ORTEC Service Planning. The integrated flow links customer self-scheduling to ORTEC's Field Service Management algorithms so that customer-chosen appointment windows are reconciled with route and capacity optimization, enabling better match rates between engineer arrivals and customer availability.
The move to data driven field service scheduling created a cultural shift, addressed through hands-on validation exercises and a biweekly working group that reviews algorithmic choices and continuous improvement opportunities. Outcomes explicitly reported include a reduced number of missed appointments, higher customer satisfaction and improved workforce utilization, with the scheduling department and engineering teams adopting the ORTEC Service Planning driven workflows as they expand the method into additional activities with the objective of consolidating control within a single My Eneco environment.
