| SAP | Legacy | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2000 | 2000 |
In 2000 ENEL implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to consolidate finance and treasury processing across its international affiliates. The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 deployment served as ENEL's ERP Financial platform and was centered on the SAP R/3 AFC modules FI and TR to handle core accounting and treasury workflows.
Operational ownership was assigned to Enel Global ICT within the Administration Development & Maintenance department, which managed configuration, support, and lifecycle activities for the SAP R/3 AFC modules FI and TR. The implementation was structured to support foreign subsidiaries of Enel Internazionale and Enel Green Power, with the Administration Development & Maintenance team responsible for localization, patching, and transport management across deployment landscapes.
Functionally the implementation covered general ledger and subledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable processes, and treasury transaction processing using the FI and TR capabilities. Governance emphasized centralized change control and role based access for finance and treasury users, with phased subsidiary rollouts and configuration templates to meet country specific statutory and chart of accounts requirements.

| GE Digital | Legacy | GE Digital Predix APM | Asset Performance Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018 Enel implemented GE Digital Predix APM as an Asset Performance Management deployment across 14 of its power plants, using the cloud based Predix platform to centralize telemetry. The implementation ingests data from connected machines and sensors at those 14 sites, consolidating streaming equipment signals into Predix for further analysis.
GE Digital Predix APM is configured to apply advanced predictive analytics and diagnostic routines to detect and diagnose equipment problems before they escalate, and to surface real time detectors that indicate when assets should be inspected from a maintenance perspective. The arrangement emphasizes analytics driven condition monitoring and organized failure detection workflows, increasing the portion of plant data that is actively analyzed for performance and reliability decisions.
Operational scope is explicitly limited to the 14 chosen power stations as a controlled pilot, with data collection occurring in the cloud based Predix platform and analytics executed within GE Digital Predix APM. The deployment model aligns with monitoring as a service practices noted by GE, as GE operates APM capability at its Global Electricity Monitoring and Diagnostics Center while providing monitoring services to other power producers.
Governance and rollout were structured to start small, choosing sites where impact could be demonstrated and then extend the program across a broader stakeholder map. Stated goals for the Asset Performance Management implementation are increased performance, increased reliability, optimized output and reduced costs, with explicit aims to reduce equipment failure, lower break fix costs and limit outages and revenue lost by moving to proactive, analytics driven maintenance operations.
