Epicor Legacy Epicor ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2014 2014
In 2014 E&O Laboratories implemented Epicor ERP in the ERP Financial category, beginning a phased rollout managed from a compact IT department that reported to the Managing Director. The deployment spanned three sites and supported approximately 50 users while running alongside a bespoke AS400 platform during the transition period. Implementation emphasis was placed on Procurement and Supply Chain capabilities within Epicor ERP, with a staged migration that moved Manufacturing functions onto Epicor first, followed by Logistical functions including Sales Order processing, Inventory, Distribution and Warehousing. The IT lead served as the functional expert for Procurement and Supply Chain on Epicor and retained responsibility for Sales Order processing and Inventory on the AS400 during cutover, reflecting a hybrid dual ERP operating model during rollout. The Epicor ERP implementation operated within an IT environment that included Office 365, QPulse quality management software, labelling software, a customer facing web portal with secure retrieval of delivery notes and quality certificates, a Horizon cloud based IP phone system, and a Kelio Time and Attendance solution. The team also supported and developed a customer provided stock management system and managed core infrastructure components including virtualization, servers, network equipment, telephony, endpoints and cabling across the three sites. Governance and process work included development of company IT strategy, formal policies and procedures, and management of a two person technical team in a virtualized Windows environment. Explicit achievements recorded during the program included an upgrade of Epicor ERP from v9 to v10 and migration of the application stack onto Windows Server 2016 and SQL Server 2017, along with rollout of the secure customer portal, Horizon telephony and Kelio Time and Attendance systems.

Bodet Software Legacy Bodet Kelio Time and Attendance Time and Attendance HCM n/a 2014 2014
In 2014 E&O Laboratories implemented Bodet Kelio Time and Attendance. The deployment was led by the internal IT manager who reported directly to the Managing Director and supported approximately 50 users across three UK sites, reflecting a small, centralized IT operation responsible for servers, networking and end user devices. Bodet Kelio Time and Attendance was configured to provide standard time and attendance capabilities, including employee clocking, shift and roster management, absence tracking and operational reporting. The implementation emphasized functional configuration and user-level administration rather than bespoke module development. The solution was deployed into the company virtualized Windows server environment that the IT team maintained, and administration was handled in-house by one IT manager and one technical staff member. Operational coverage included all user departments and sites, with the IT team providing day to day support and system maintenance. Governance and operational ownership remained with the IT manager, who managed rollout, user support and ongoing administration while also maintaining other core systems and infrastructure. The narrative centers on internal deployment and administration of Bodet Kelio Time and Attendance within a small life sciences company environment where the IT team retained full operational control.
