Governance and process changes were established concurrently, including creation of client service standards to ensure a positive experience for plan sponsors, participants, and advisors, a formal new hire training program, and ongoing training for the sales organization. The 2014 rollout also codified the account open and client onboarding processes and embedded escalation routing and technical support workflows into day to day operations.
