In 2013 Euroclear implemented Oracle E-Business Suite to centralize its ERP Financial capabilities for the corporate finance organization. The implementation positioned Oracle E-Business Suite as the primary financial application supporting general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and treasury oriented functionality across Euroclear's finance function.
Oracle E-Business Suite was configured to support multi ledgers and multi entity accounting workflows, with standard modules configured for financial close orchestration, intercompany accounting controls, and statutory reporting workflows. The deployment emphasized core ERP Financial capabilities including transaction processing, period close sequencing, and subledger to general ledger reconciliation automation consistent with enterprise finance operations.
JP Consulting acted as a systems integrator on the program and a Senior Oracle EBS Consultant was engaged on site at Euroclear from January 2017 to January 2022 via Axeasy, providing ongoing application support and configuration management. Integrations focused on connecting Oracle E-Business Suite to internal financial workflows and payment and bank interfaces, and to operational feeds required for accounts and treasury processing.
Governance was organized around a finance led implementation steering committee and application change control processes to manage configuration, patching, and release activities for Oracle E-Business Suite. Ongoing consultancy and embedded Oracle EBS expertise sustained runbook development, user support, and iterative enhancements for Euroclear's ERP Financial landscape.
