| Oracle | Oracle PeopleSoft ERP | Oracle Cloud ERP | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2022 | 2023 |
In 2022 Everest Re migrated from Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2 to Oracle Cloud ERP as its ERP Financial solution. The program consolidated finance and accounting capabilities for Everest Re Group and its operating subsidiaries across Bermuda, Canada, Europe, Singapore and the United States. Oracle Cloud ERP was positioned as the central platform to standardize financial processes, controls and reporting across the global reinsurance and insurance business.
Implementation scope centered on Oracle Cloud Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Asset Management, Procurement, Expenses, Purchase Order, Fixed Assets and Close & Consolidation. Workstreams included functional configuration, targeted customizations to support insurance accounting workflows, report and interface development, and joint functional and technical design activities. The delivery approach emphasized fit gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process design, and formal documentation of business requirements.
The project required integrations and orchestration with internal finance, treasury and procurement workflows as well as interfaces to reporting and consolidation processes used by actuarial and underwriting teams. Technical delivery covered cloud configuration, data conversion from Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2, and staged QA and User Acceptance Testing cycles to validate interfaces and month end close procedures. Primary operational coordination was based from Warren, NJ, while governance accounted for Everest Re Group's multinational operating footprint.
Project governance emphasized a liaison model between IT and business, with business analysts assigned to requirements gathering, testing support, defect resolution and end user training. Everest partnered with a Solution Integration partner to execute migration activities and to support functional configuration, integrations and testing. The deployment organized functional ownership across finance and accounting teams and formalized test and acceptance gates prior to Go Live.

| UKG | Legacy | UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper (ex Kronos Workforce Timekeeper) | Time and Attendance | HCM | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, Everest Re implemented UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper (ex Kronos Workforce Timekeeper) as its Time and Attendance application to centralize timekeeping and scheduling for site-level employees. The engagement included design, configuration, testing, debugging, documentation and ongoing maintenance for Kronos versions 6.0 to 6.2, with specific emphasis on automated scheduling to reduce manual processing costs and mitigate potential employee relations issues when schedules were not processed properly by managers.
Implementation work focused on the Workforce Time & Attendance module and adjacent capabilities, including the advanced scheduler, accruals, attendance, pay rules and work rules. Configurations encompassed pay codes, wage profiles, zones, security profiles, pay tables, Function Access Profiles, Data Access Profiles, Labor Level Sets, Shift Guarantees and Holiday Rules. The team created and customized analytical tools using Kronos Workforce Genies and hyper finds, and installed and configured the web server and application servers for the Kronos environment.
Integrations and interface management were a core component of the deployment, with analysis and tuning of Workforce Device Manager time clocks and WIM interfaces handling inbound employee data and outbound payroll hours and wage files. The implementation assisted in fully integrating PeopleSoft with Kronos Workforce Central Timekeeper, and supported the Kronos Interface Manager for resolving outbound payroll file issues. Work also included developing and validating inbound and outbound interface mappings, deploying in a hosted environment, and defining Pay Tables used by WIM.
Operational governance and process work engaged HR, payroll, operations leadership and project stakeholders to gather new Kronos business requirements, develop and test payrules and access profiles, and document operational procedures. The team compiled and distributed accounting and labor forecasting reports detailing hours, cost per hour and travel expenses to Project and Executive Managers on a monthly or ad hoc basis, and provided input on best practices for operational handoffs between managers, payroll and HR.
The rollout prioritized reducing manual schedule processing and minimizing employee relations exposure by implementing the advanced scheduler and validating pay and attendance rules across sites. Ongoing support activities included maintaining Kronos pay rules, work rules, pay codes, security profiles and providing user-level troubleshooting and training for Kronos end users, payroll and HR staff.
