ADP Legacy ADP Workforce Now Core HR HCM n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, Farmers and Merchants Bank of Long Beach implemented ADP Workforce Now as its Core HR platform, initiating a multi-module HRIS and timekeeping program across Human Resources and Payroll. The deployment included ADP Workforce Now and ADP eTIME, positioning ADP Workforce Now as the system of record for employee data and payroll configuration for the Long Beach area operations. Implementation work focused on configuration of payroll related elements and time and attendance, with documented version references to Workforce Now v11 and eTIME v8 during the conversion. Project activities included data migration, data validation, creation of test controls for the payroll conversion, report configuration and scheduling, and preparation of internal training materials to support end users and payroll processors. Integrations explicitly implemented included a benefits interface from ADP Workforce Now v11 to the benefits vendor PlanSource, and scheduled reporting feeds to support HR, Payroll and Accounting functions. The conversion work migrated data from TelePayroll into ADP Workforce Now, and the project delivered a successful go live for the eTIME v8 implementation, bringing time collection and payroll inputs into the ADP environment. Governance and operational ownership were established within the Human Resources department, with a designated HRIS and Payroll lead responsible for security administration of payroll and HR applications, auditing system entries, monitoring system utilization, and partnering with the PMO on upgrades and change management. Processes were formalized for payroll accuracy checks prior to bi weekly payroll runs, benefits open enrollment execution, reconciliation and reporting, and ongoing system maintenance and enhancement planning for the full employee life cycle. Outcomes recorded in project documentation include successful conversion of all data from TelePayroll to ADP Workforce Now, creation and scheduling of the Benefits Interface to PlanSource, and a successful eTIME go live. The implementation centralized core HR, payroll and timekeeping functions on ADP Workforce Now, with HRIS governance, data integrity controls and operational procedures instituted to support payroll processing and benefits administration.

Jack Henry & Associates Legacy Jack Henry Banking SilverLake Core Banking ERP Services and Operations n/a 2007 2007
In 2007, Farmers & Merchants Bank of Long Beach implemented Jack Henry Banking SilverLake in the Core Banking category. The deployment established Jack Henry Banking SilverLake as the bank's core processing platform while the bank pursued an Internet channel expansion using Jack Henry's Opening Act solution. The implementation integrated Opening Act to provide online account opening and e-commerce oriented account acquisition capabilities, along with CSR-facing workflows to support in-branch and phone-based customer service. Jack Henry Banking SilverLake provided the transactional processing, posting, and account record services that Opening Act consumed through integrated account provisioning and verification flows. Integrations were explicitly configured between Opening Act, the SilverLake core processing system, and the bank's Internet banking platform to enable end-to-end account opening, funding, and servicing. Opening Act was made available through Jack Henry's exclusive remarketing arrangement with MeridianLink, and Jack Henry cross sold the capability to its bank and credit union clients under the ProfitStars brand. Governance and operational intent were driven by the bank's Information Systems organization, led by senior vice president Robert Graham, to increase deposits, cross sell products, attract new customers, and compete more aggressively with national and Web-based banks. The bank expected Opening Act, operating alongside Jack Henry Banking SilverLake, to become a strategic component of its dynamic e-commerce strategy and to support both customer self-service and CSR productivity.
